The Good King

'A Sign'

Right under the blue clear sky and the warm weather of that day, she lied down, leaning her back on the tree behind her, she did take a quick nap without her knowing.

A small white butterfly touched her nose and those pretty wings were the first thing she saw when she woke up.

Once Evan moved, the butterfly went away.

She looked around her, the couple were sleeping as well, not so far from her.

"Where is Mirai?"

She asked herself in pretty low voice tone before she got up and walked around looking for him.

She was pretty sure that he did not follow Venator and the other, since he did not show any interest in whatever they had to hide, but him disappearing all of a sudden felt a little off.

Evan climbed the highest tree she set her eyes on, while she wanted to find Mirai she got lost in the beautiful view.

"Our missions are always night ones, Am mission out on many things"

She smiled saying.

But that was not the only thing she saw, not too far from sight, some trees were falling apart as if the forest was getting destroyed.

Evan immediately rushed towards the scene, she knew exactly what was going on.

In the middle of the forest, where you could only hear some tweeting birds, a loud sound of a huge tree falling and hitting the ground was heard.

It was loud enough, all the animals ran towards the opposite direction. The birds departed those trees and flew away.

A metal chain as fast as the wind was going right through those helpless trees.

"What are you doing?"

Evan who suddenly showed up from behind that man asked, she sounded very pissed off.

"Expressing my emotions"

Mirai turned around replying.

"Well you are destroying the forest"

 She said complaining.

"Am bored, train with me"

Mirai replied.

"Fine"

She sighed replying but right before she got herself in position, she froze and was all ears to her surrounding.

"Did you hear that?"

Evan asked.

"Hear what exactly?"

Mirai seemed to be confused while asking her that.

Yet she did not move and kept trying to identify which direction that odd sound was from.

She suddenly moved towards his right, a branch was broken, not only that, she could clearly see a human foot print.

'This can not be true, how could anyone find us?' 

She thought to herself in disbelief.

"Helloooo"

Rose suddenly walked in followed by her husband who was still scratching out after their long nap.

"Evan, is everything okay?"

Rose asked from afar.

"All good"

Evan replied as she walked back towards them.

"Since we're all up let's have a training session"

Mirai suggested yet once more, and they all agreed to it.
