In the middle of that dark night, and if you wondered around the palace, you would think the sun was still up since every corner was filled with lights.

Even with all of that, Louis, who was running as fast as he could, did not seem to see a thing in his way.

He opened the door to his room and rushed inside, trying to catch his own breath.

Aylin stood up immediately from the bed she was lying on and looked towards the prince as she asked in all worries,

"Louis! Are you alright?"

His face was pale, and his eyes were filled with fear.

She ran towards him and started checking on him carefully.

Aylin did not expect him to rest his head on her shoulder while standing and then wrapping her in his arms tightly.

She could feel how his heartbeating was all over the place, and so she said nothing.

"It's alright now, here here,"

She said while patting his hair.

A few minutes went by before Louis could speak of what scared him.

"Leo spoke with you, right? What did he say? Did he do anything to you?"

The prince then showered her with more and more questions, but Aylin walked by his side towards the bed where they both sat down.

"Since I came here both Asher and Elmer warned me of letting Leo see me yet talk to me, I was always good at avoiding him it was never an issue but then today I do not know how but he was standing in front of me and I could not hear him coming at all"

Aylin explained,

"But he only asked if I was new and nothing else,"

She then added.

"I need to get you out of here,"

Was Louis's reply.

"What? Why?"

Aylin wondered.

"Because I do not know what he was thinking or what he has in mind, Aylin, you are not safe in here,"

The second prince said.

He did not expect her reply,

"Louis, this is where I want to be, There is no safe place for someone like me,"

Aylin's words did shatter something in him.

Where can he keep her safe? He thought as hard as he could, yet not a single answer came up to his mind.

He has never felt so lost before. He was unable to protect his little brother nor his love.

A moment of despair fell upon his wounded heart that just started bleeding again.

"Do not worry, I will never run into him again,"

Aylin's voice brought him back to th3 reality he was unable to face.

"I promise."

She added while holding his hands.

She looked into those eyes and made a promise, hoping it put his heart more at ease, and it did work.

"Thank you, Aylin."

The second prince replied.

He was still worried and scared, yet he chose to put himself together for the sake of the ones he loves.

"Want some tea?"

She then asked as she walked towards the table where Betty placed a beautiful glass teapot and two small cups.

She poured for one person and went back to hand it to Louis.

Who had to thank her again before sipping from that drink that put some peace and calm upon his exhausted body.

As the training has finally come to an end. And as many trainees were ready to proceed with learning a true knight's duties, others had to say goodbye.

Edwin never expected his non blood brother would be leaving.

The dream they both shared when they were little kids.

He wished he could say something, yet he knew nothing was going to help Victor at that exact moment while he was packing the few things he had brought with him.

Once done, he walked towards the door silently and did not even take one last look at that small room they had been sharing for many months now.

They both walked quietly until they made it to the palace's open gate.

That cheerful face was still smiling, he was leaving behind everything he had ever dreamed about but he was smiling.

He did not expect to look at the cold hearted Edwin and see him crying.

Yes, those tears were falling down his cheeks as if he was the one who was leaving.

He cried because he knew more than anyone else just how hard Victor worked and exercised every single day even before coming to the palace.

He cried for his friend who had no choice but to accept his destiny.

"Thank you Edwin"

Was Victor's saying as he jumped hugging him.

"You better make that dream happen"

He then added.

And that was their goodbye. Just like that Victor stepped outside pf the palace into a small carriage heading to Kardia.

He had no idea what his next step should be but he did not want to stop walking. because maybe one day he will get there.

"I thought you will be buying new arrows"

Said Hawk while walking closer towards the hooded first prince who was only staring at those bow sets.

"I have enough and I think I want to use my sword more"

Elmer replied.

It was as he knew that his arrows alone ca not restore peace to Lydia.

If he is willing to become the next king he will need his sword.

He then looked back towards Hawk's annoyed expression as he eyed Venator.

"What is it?"

The first prince asked.

"He is so relaxed, and it annoys me"

Hawk replied with all honesty.

Elmer sighed before he replied scolding his non-blood older brother.

"Stop it and start trying to get along with him, we are in the same boat now"

Right after that the prince walked closer to the hunter who was checking some daggers.

Even though he bought three of those just this morning it did seem to be his weakness, not getting enough of those no matter how much he has on him.

"This one looks nice"

Elmer said.

"Yeah it's the same as the one you hit me with"

The hunter replied, not thinking much of it.

"I might get one!"

They spoke while Hawk watched from afar and seemed to be the only one who had his guard up the whole time.

In the middle of that forest, they did not seem to be willing to leave that spot at all.

Mirai was sitting a couple of feet away from the rest of his team while they were discussing their final decision.

"Whoever believes in Venator and would want to follow him, raise your hand"

Were Evan's words as she was the first to raise hers, waiting for the other's to make up their minds...
