When the sun rises with its warm rays, that beautiful light should help people wake up, but inside that palace everyone was wide awake.
Louis just changed his clothes and left the room where Aylin was nowhere to be found, he really wished to wake up to her face once more but she left early.
He walked down those stairs heading towards his fate.
The second prince did not expect to meet the general there.
That royal young man walked past him as if he did not see him, after all Alexander despised the guts of him and he did not even hide it. Just because he was Leo's son.
Something he did not even get to decide.
Only if they could see the hate he carried inside of him towards that man he calls father.
''Louis''
That voice stopped him.
He turned around to see his younger brother running towards him, jumping into those arms.
''Ed! why are you up so early today?''
Louis asked.
The little prince heard that it was a very important day and that was why he wanted to wish him a good luck since lately whenever Louis comes back Edmund would be already in bed.
And he wakes up everyday to find that Louis has left already which was something he could not simply accept.
Maybe because he fears a sudden goodbye from his brother just like what happened with Elmer and Louis felt that.
He kneeled down on one knee and held Edmund closer to his chest which made the little prince smile brightly as he hugged him back.
''I will be back soon, be good''
Louis's words made Alexander stop there for a couple of seconds at the sight of those two sons that only had each other and felt that he did something wrong.
''I will!''
Edmund replied.
They had to part ways when Betty came running to get the little prince.
'I can't believe I made him worry about me again, I need to be more careful'
The second prince thought as he smiled walking away while waving his little brother a sweet soon to meet again 'Goodbye'
He walked past the general once more, that man was a little too stunned to speak even though he was going to say something to Louis, it was definitely not the right time.
The prince walked towards them greeting,
''Good morning''
And got everyone's reply.
All of those trainees were on their nerves since they were facing the unknown again and this time a lot of them will be leaving and burying their dreams of becoming true knights with today's loss if it ever happens.
''Are you alright?''
Louis asked Victor who was walking around them in circles and could not stand still.
''He is just stressed''
Edwin replied.
''We're all stressed out so stand still !''
The blonde haired trainee complained.
''Let's not get involved Elyas''
His friend whispered, that quiet guy who's always left behind alone finally managed to show himself up.
