The Good King

'December's Day'

The rain has stopped.

It was still cloudy and cold as expected from December.

Ivor was still working even though he obviously had a bad fever.

His face was red and looked exhausted , his temperature was so high and he still managed to walk through the hallway since his king called for him.

"Your majesty"

He said as he bowed his head.

Leo's expression changed a little at the sight of his advisor who looked almost dead.

"I think I should invite them over once more to see who is still under my feet and who is hesitant so that I know who to get rid of"

The king said.

Ivor knew for sure that he was talking about the royal family.

"I will get everything ready your majesty"

He replied with his tired voice.

"Ivor"

Leo said and so his advisor raised his head and looked up towards him.

"How can I trust you with it if you can not even take care of yourself ?"

The king added.

"I will not let you down your majesty"

Ivor replied.

"And make sure you do not look this awful in front of your king next time"

Leo said.

"My apologies to you"

Ivor answered.

He was finally able to leave after that , his head was spinning all over the place , he was not able to walk straight and struggled a lot until he made it back to his workroom.

He lied on the sofa and closed his eyes , not in hopes the pain goes away but in hopes he never gets to open them again.

Louis had a fight with victor and this time he was holding his bokken properly.

He tried to read his opponent's mind and use it against him.

"Commence"

After Asher's words Victor ran towards the prince and swung his sword.

He was obviously aiming for his left shoulder and even though Louis realized it he still got hit but managed to step back before getting attacked twice in a raw.

It was not very easy because even when he was able to read Victor's moves it was very hard to avoid them since he was way faster and stronger than him and so just like that he was badly defeated.

"Here"

Victor said while offering the prince his hand.

He helped him get up on his feet again.

"Thank you"

Louis smiled saying those words.

"You read my moves didn't you ?"

Victor asked.

"But I still failed"

Louis replied.

"You are a scary one , I will have to be aware of you"

Victor replied with a smile.

The second prince did not know why those words made him laugh and feel a little happy about it.
