''Are you seriously asking him that ?''
Hawk said before Venator got to answer the prince's question about his injury.
He did not really have an answer but he was going to say that he was sorry or maybe that his head was just fine yet his chance slipped.
Hawk was still annoyed by the hunter and did not like how Elmer just forgave him once again as if he did nothing.
The mood was about to turn gloomy, Hawk's anger and Venator's self hate were all over the room and it felt very intense.
The first prince who was in so much pain was the only one smiling, even though he was bothered by their glares at each other, Gilda saved him.
''Breakfast is ready !''
She said as she placed some plates on their table.
Gilda did lie, breakfast was not ready at all since the girls did not come back with the rest of the ingredients but she just served them dinner's leftovers and no one could tell since no one ate last night.
''Thank you for everything''
The prince said as he looked into that woman's eyes showing her his pure gratitude, she smiled back as she went to bring more stuff from the kitchen.
Elmer was the only one eating, he did not know if he was hungry or not but he just knew that if he did not eat it would only make him weaker.
After a while the girls came back and started helping Gilda.
The prince who left his heart upstairs could not manage to climb up again and so he decided to take a walk.
Once he stood up, Hawk got up as well then asked,
''Where are you going ?''
Elmer sighed before replying,
''To see Silas, not like I can go anywhere''
Hawk sat back on the chair as if he was allowing the prince to leave.
The air was so fresh and the sky was clear and blue, not a single cloud to be seen, for him it felt like that sky was endless.
He walked towards the stable to see his Silas.
Once the mere saw him she could not hide her happiness.
''I guess I am not the only one who misses you''
He smiled saying as he opened the stables door, she stepped forward towards the prince who hugged her and at that moment everything felt good.
She opened her eyes at the empty sight of his side of the bed, Ida was worried and rushed downstairs.
They all looked at her when she asked in her shaky voice,
''Where is the prince ?''
Larica was the one replying with her calming voice,
''He went to see Silas, do not worry he is doing better than last night''
She could finally feel at ease, Ida knew why she was restless and scared, it was because she thought he died and the image of him drowning in blood from that day would never fade away from her memory.
After hearing Larica's reply, she excused herself and walked outside heading towards the stable to make sure he was really there.
Before reaching the stable she could hear his voice, Elmer was talking to Silas and he sounded happy which made her slow her steps down then stop to hear a little more.
''I know you liked those braids''
The prince said.
''But I really have no idea how they are done, I do not even know who braided your mane''
