'Dead Flowers'

In the middle of that forest where the four hunter stood in their fighting position. Evan's eyes were on the three of them.

Especially on the chain's hunter.

After a while of silence, Mirai's chain lashed through the air as he swung it with deadly intent towards Evan.

Yet her dagger hit the chain right before it reached her.

She immediately fought back, sending her daggers flying towards him.

Yet he was able to dodge them.

Rosa and Alex had no idea what was going on as their usual trainings do not feel that intense and so they decided to step aside and watch.

 "YOU LIED TO ME"

Evan said in anger while running towards Mirai this time with her sword in hands.

"I made no promise"

He replied white in defense position, held the chain tight with both hands to stop her sword, yet she kept swinging and attacking him nonstop.

"Evan, listen to me, I don't want to fight"

Mirai said while stepping back, keeping a distance between him and Evan who's rage was not near over.

"Well I Do"

She replied, running again towards him, she swung her swords knowing very well that he was going to stop it easily with his chain.

When Mirai finally noticed that she only used one hand to hold the sword, the other hand holding a dagger was ready to stab him.

But in a blink of an eye, a rain of daggers hit her sword and dagger out of her hands and dropped Mirai's chain away.

Venator stood in between of them then asked,

"What is happening here?"

Mirai immediately ran towards his chain then stepped back away from the two.

"He sold our position, the royal guards and Theodore's men are so close waiting for the prince to show up"

Evan said.

"Wait, where is he?"

She then asked.

The hunter immediately realized that leaving them behind was a mistake but right before he decided to run back to the prince, the three of them stood in his way.

"They will take him to the king, and everything will go back to the way it used to be"

Alex said.

"Look, Leo was very angry with us, we have to at least get him the prince and maybe then he will forgive us"

Rose added.

"You two knew about this"

Evan said.

She wished ti was all a lie but the situation said otherwise.

"Evan, am doing this for the sake of us all, if Leo wants to he would kill us easily and make our beloved ones suffer"

Mirai said walking closer to her and Venator.

"You said you saw hope in him"

Evan said.

"I never said that, I just went with whatever you thought, you won't seriously risk your life for a prince? he had a better life than all of us could ever dream of, what does he know about fear or suffering?"

Mirai said.

His words got to her limits, she could no longer hold back.

But before she stepped in, Venator's hand stopped her.
