After checking on the prince, Aylin had a direction in mind.
Her shadow was to be seen jumping for afar as if she could fly.
Yet when landing, no sound was made by her light body.
She was wandering around the knight's living space, which was something Asher did forbid her from doing since she could be captured or seen.
Yet she already lost count of how many times she sneaked into this place.
Specifically, that one room.
She finally made it to the door and decided to send the letter in by sliding it under the door.
Once she did that, the door was wide open.
Ezra stood tall, leaning on the door and looking down on her.
"Hi kiddo, care to explain?"
He said.
Aylin sighed that she was caught before she walked inside the room.
"So who's sending these?"
The knight asked.
"I can not tell you, she wants it to be a secret love"
Aylin replied.
Ezra raised an eyebrow, wondering in confusion,
"What?"
"Don't ask me, not like I know"
Aylin immediately replied.
She was only telling him what Clair said to her, even she couldn't understand what her friend meant.
"I don't know who this person is, but she probably is around your age"
Ezra said.
Aylin nodded, her head agreeing.
"You realize I am your father's age right?"
He then added.
"What does Asher have to do with this?"
She asked.
"Am just saying your friend is delusional"
The knight then explained.
"You can't love someone who's twice your age"
He added hoping his words would help her understand.
"Why not?"
Aylin asked.
Ezra's eyes said it all, the girl in front of him needed a very detailed explanation.
He knew he might not be able to clear all of her doubts, yet he chose to try and explain to her anyway.
"Love comes in different ways, for example you love Asher like a Parent and Elmer as a friend, these two are very important people to you right?"
He wandered.
"Of course! You are important too, Ezra. "
The Petrian added.
The knight smiled at her words before he continued.
"Falling in love is different, Now this is the love you have for someone you want to marry and start a family with, just like the prince and the ptincess from your children book"
His words seemed to put some sense into her head.
"Someone you would want to kiss?"
She suddenly asked.
