46: Reveal

We spent the next few days exploring Paris. Museum of Modern Art, Stravinsky Fountain, Trocadéro, and a cruise in the Seine River.

Paris is beautiful, and being here with him is amazing, discovering the quirks that make him unique has been a joyful experience.

He does this thing with his eyebrows when he does not like something that I am doing where he furrows them but not fully, it is adorable.

I am getting better at reading him, maybe he is opening up more.

"Princess, I got you breakfast." The nausea has gotten better and I am thankful, I hate morning sickness and unlike with Darian, this time around, I was constantly throwing up.

"Thank you, daddy."

"Of course." a kiss on my forehead as he goes to have a drink and cigar on the balcony.

We are headed back home today. We both miss our boy and being away from him any longer, is stupid.

My due date is scheduled to be around late December but given that Darian was premature, Dr Stevens says that this baby might be early as well.

Meaning that after October, I should stay in the country and take it easy.

I don't want to be pregnant in a wedding dress, I also do not want to rush the wedding. I have been speaking to Darius about dates and I am liking September or October next year.

We have to decide on a date, a venue and a theme. Planning a wedding is a lot and apparently, I have to interview wedding planners. I do not like this at all.

I asked James to get me an event planner, I need to at least have an overall idea of what I am doing here.

He walks into the kitchen in just his sweatpants, Since he retired, he has been working out regularly. A kiss on the forehead before he opens the fridge to get a plum.

"Is everyone still coming to dinner?" he nods "When are you getting ready?"

"In an hour, I will get Darian ready for bed."

"Okay, thank you. I am nearly done with all the food, I am left with the desserts."

"What are you making?"

"Black forest tiramisu."

"Can't wait to try it. Do you need my help?"

"Not now but I will call you if I do." another kiss on my forehead before he heads back into his study.

After I have everything prepared and the dining room looks great, I head upstairs to get ready. I already picked out my outfit to hide my belly. In the past few weeks, it has grown quite a bit and I have not told anyone besides Darius and Sasha.

Darius is welcoming his family into the house as I fix my make-up and hair. I make my way downstairs to find everyone already seated. Darius pulls a chair for me.

We enjoy dinner, talking and enjoying each other's company. As Jess and Molly place our desserts on our plates, everyone compliments me on the dinner but mostly the dessert.

I am glad that we have gotten to the point where we can have regular family dinners. This is the environment I have always dreamed of raising my children in.

"Okay, thank you everyone for coming. We both appreciate you all making time for us. We have a little announcement to make tonight, Princess."

"Uhm, well, soon our family of three will be a family of four." Destiny is the first to make a sound while I see tears in Chlöe's eyes.
