Bad Day - Tyler Lockwood

There was no possible way that today couldn't get any worse than it already had. From waking up late, my car breaking down on my way to work, spilling a tray full of drinks all over myself, to even someone taking all the tips I had made tonight, and now I was short of the car payment I have to make by tomorrow. There was no way else to describe it other than my own version of the no good, very bad day, and it sucked.

I plopped down on the couch of the family room upon getting home. Not paying any attention to whether or not Matt, Tyler, or Jeremy was in the home or not because, to be honest, I really didn't care all too much. My day was bad enough, and I wasn't about to walk myself into the supernatural bullshit that raided our circle of friends. I had my own crap to deal with at the moment.

There was a small chuckle that came from behind me at the doorway into the family room. "You're cute when you are upset, you know that?" Said my boyfriend.

"Stop laughing at me, Ty." I pouted and crossed my arms over my chest. "It hasn't been a very good day and I just wanted to come home, relax and not think about a single damn thing that has gone on today."

Tyler walked over and sat next to me on the couch. "What's wrong, baby?" He questioned as he pulled me into his hold.

"Everything that could have gone wrong today happened, and now because of some asshole I'm short of this month's payment by like seventy-five dollars because they stole my tips." I sighed sadly.

"Someone took your tip?" Tyler questioned. I nodded as to reply to him. He let out a mad-like huff before saying, "That's messed up. Don't people know you practically live off of those?"

"If they do, then they obviously don't care."

The Lockwood boy was all too quiet for a moment. "Look, how about I pay your car payment this month, and to make your day s little better, I'll make (fav food) for dinner tonight? How does that sound?" He finally said.

I sat up slightly from his hold. "Ty, I couldn't ask you to pay that. It's just not right of me if I were to do so."

"(Y/N/N), you're not asking me to do anything. I'm offering. Besides, what kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't help out my girl when she needs it knowing I have the means to do so and also what you've been through today?" He stated as he started to rub my back lightly. "Now, at this point, I'm not giving you a choice in the matter except for the food portion and you have never said no, so I don't understand why you would even start now."

I giggled lightly. "Thank you, baby."

Tyler kissed my head. "It's no problem, really." He said and stood up from his seat. "And to make dinner even better, I'm calling Stefan to ask for that cheese dip recipe that you love so much."

I looked at him with a big smile practically plastered upon my face now. "Have I told you that I love you lately?"

"You don't have to. It's implied." Ty said, smiling back at me before making his way towards the kitchen.
