YN stirred awake, her eyes fluttering open to find herself nestled in the arms of her husband, Klaus. She smiled, feeling the warmth of his embrace and the gentle rise and fall of his chest against her back. It was a feeling she was sure she would never get tired of for the rest of their eternity.
Gently extricating herself from his hold, YN tiptoed out of bed, careful not to disturb his slumber. She made her way to the kitchen, her feet padding softly against the cold wooden floor. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee greeted her, and she couldn't resist pouring herself a cup before deciding to make it a simple morning meal.
As YNN prepared breakfast, she couldn't help but steal glances through the open doorway of the apartment at her husband, who was still sound asleep. The morning light filtered through the curtains of their honeymoon rental, casting a soft glow on his face. The sight of him, peaceful and vulnerable, filled her heart with love and adoration. It was a sight she saw more than others yet it was still rare so when YN got to see this relaxed and peaceful state that Niklaus was in, she couldn't help but admire it.
Just as she was about to finish cooking, Klaus emerged from the bedroom, rubbing his eyes and tousling his unruly hair. He glanced at his beautiful wife, a sleepy smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
"Good morning, love," Klaus greeted her, his voice husky with sleep as he walked up and wrapped his arms around her from behind. "What's that delightful aroma wafting through the air?"
YN turned in his arms to face him, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "Just breakfast," she replied, before escaping his hold and placing a plate of pancakes and bacon on the table. "I would have had it ready earlier, but you were sleeping so peacefully, and I didn't want to wake you by getting out of bed. Though I see that it wouldn't have made such a difference now."
Niklaus grinned, his blue eyes sparkling with appreciation. "Though I knew exactly when you made your way out of our bed," he said, crossing the room to embrace her. "You always know how to make me feel cherished in the best ways."
They sat down at the table, their fingers entwined as they enjoyed their meal together. The morning sunlight bathed the room, creating an intimate atmosphere. The two relished in each other's gaze as they reminisced over the many years they had known each other.
The two have known each other for over 300 years and had been together romantically for half of that. They knew they could never be without each other so when Niklaus finally asked YN to marry him, it was the easiest and fastest 'yes' she had ever given him.
"I must say, my love," Klaus began, his voice filled with warmth, "marrying you was the best decision I've ever made. Every day with you feels like a dream."
YN blushed, leaning in to brush her lips against his. "You surely know how to make a girl feel special, Nik," she replied, her voice filled with affection. "I'm grateful for every moment we share."
As they finished their breakfast, YN couldn't help but feel a surge of happiness. Being married to Klaus Mikaelson was an adventure, one she was eager to embark on every day. They had overcome countless obstacles, and yet, their love burned fiercely, unyielding in the face of any challenge.
