"This is ridiculous!" Trevor exclaimed, after losing the trail on Katherine for the hundredth time. "How can this girl get away from us every single time?"

My eyes rolled at him involuntarily. I was tired of his complaining. For hundreds of years, it was something I always heard. Though I knew I didn't have to endure at all I would have to do is tell Elijah that I was done chasing Katerina Petrova and he'll tell me to come home, but I do it for Rose. She was my best friend, and I would hate for her to go out it alone.

"Oh, quit your whining Trevor. Don't forget you caused this hunt on us. Telling the Petrova girl how to get out of the curse breaking. What were you thinking?" I questioned.

Trevor groaned. "How was I supposed to know answering her questions would give her the motive to kill herself? Hell, it was Rose that gave her the blood."

Rose whipped around and looked at him in disbelief. "To heal her."

"Don't bring her kindness into this. We have had this conversation too many times. It was you that brought the doppelgänger into my home and got us all in trouble with Elijah and Klaus!" I exclaimed and pointed my finger at him. "I had just gotten in Niklaus' good graces and you ruined that for me. So don't you dare bring Rose's kindness into this." I didn't ever get out of Nik's good graces since I had Elijah compel me not to be able to lie to them, but Trevor and Rose didn't know that and didn't need to know it either.

"How many times do I have to say I'm sorry, (Y/N/N)?" he questioned. "I didn't mean for everything that happened the way it did."

"Until you find Katerina and my dear, (Y/N) can finally go home." Said the voice I have been dying to hear for weeks now.

"Elijah." Rose and Trevor said and turned simultaneously when they heard him. And there was fear riddled in their voices. Rose didn't deserve to be in so much fear of this man, but in my eyes, Trevor definitely did.

"You two better get a move on. I must talk to (Y/N) for a moment." The Mikaelson Man said with a strict voice.

"We don't even know where to start looking again." Trevor said, running his hand down his face.

"Not my problem." Elijah stated. "Now go. I don't want to see or hear you in the next five seconds." he didn't have to say more before the pair disappeared with the wind.

I turned to him and smiled. "You could have given me fair warning, Lijah. I wouldn't have given the boy such a hard time."

"Oh, but what would be the fun in that, (Y/N/N)?" Niklaus' questioning voice came from behind me. "It is quite amazing to watch the feigned fury behind your eyes when you lay him out like that."

Turning towards him, my smile grew. "Both of my Mikaelson men in my presence? What do I owe the pleasure?" I question the brothers.

Elijah walked up to me with a smile of his own. "(Y/N), my love, it is time for you to let them go on their own."

"(Y/N/N), it's time for you to come home." Klaus added.

I looked at them both confused. "Did you find her?"

Klaus shook his head. "Not for certain. But we hear she is in a place called Mystic Falls. Have you heard of it?" he questioned.

"Very small amounts from an old friend he was from there. According to him, there used to be a great vampire presence there. That was until the townspeople gathered them up, and lock them in an old church and burn the building to the ground." I admitted.

"Well, apparently," Elijah started. "Katerina had made her way there once before and something has made her return." he said and wrapped an arm around my waist, to which I immediately leaned into his hold.
