Today just hasn't been my day. Everything that could have gone wrong, did go wrong and I do mean everything. My car broke down on the way to school, so I had to wait for my brother, Damon to come get me and as I was waiting for him a downpour of rain came out of absolute nowhere. Drenching me head to toe and by the time Damon got there I was soaking wet and shivering so hard from the cold.

When I got home, I just decided the world had it out for me, so I went up to my room, locked the door and was going to stay there until the lord came back. I was determined that I was not moving. If anyone needed me then they would have to come to me. But even going up to my room the carpet resting on the bottom of the staircase slipped and I fell flat on my face hitting it on one of the steps before coming to a rest on the floor. I ignored Damon's questioning to if I was okay as he helped me back off the floor and just went back to my mission on getting up to my room. Once I did finally get up to my room, I laid down on my bed, not even bothering to take off my clothes, and just fell asleep ignoring the world around me for the rest of the day.

Around 4pm, I was awoken from my day long eternal sleep by a soft knock on my bedroom door. "Hey, (Y/N/N), can I come in?" questioned the voice of my boyfriend, Jeremy Gilbert.

I smiled at the sound of his voice and nodded to myself even though I knew he couldn't see my head motion for him to come in. "Yeah, Jer." I said as I sat up against the headboard of my bed.

The door slowly opened and in walks Jeremy. "You didn't show up at school and I started to worry." He stated as he sat down next to me on the edge of the bed. "Damon said that you had a bad luck kind of morning."

"That's one way to describe it." I breathed out a sarcastic laugh. " Did he tell you everything that happened?"

Jeremy nodded. "Car broke down, downpour of rain, and fell at the bottom of the stairs. This morning just wasn't your morning was it, babe?"

I shook my head and leaned over laying my head on his shoulder. Jeremy wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back gently. "Not at all."

He kissed my head then said, "Why don't we get you out of these clothes and showered then we can just lay down and you can continue your ways of ignoring everyone and everything for the rest of the weekend. Sound good?"

I nodded and leaned back up from my spot against him. "Yeah. Sounds great."

Jeremy stood up from his spot and reached out for my hand in which I grabbed and let him lead me towards my in-suite bathroom.

Once showered and settled, cuddling into Jeremy, I sighed contentedly. I couldn't have asked for a greater ending to a day that started not so greatly. Jer looked down at me with a smile. "Better?"

"Much." I said with a smile and a nod. "Thank you."

He gave me a confused look for a moment before asking, "For what exactly?"

"Just being you. You always seem to make things better just being around." I confessed.

Jeremy smiled and leaned down, placing a sweet and gentle kiss on my lips. " I love you." He mumbled into the kiss.

My smile grew as I said, "I love you too."
