The Hogsmeade trip was the night before the task and it went pretty well. Near the end of it, Hagrid and Madeye approached.

"'Lo Isa," Hagrid said cheerfully. "Harry! Ron! Hermione! Zell!"

"Hi Hagrid," we chorused.

Viktor waved slightly as Moody nodded to us. Hagrid sat done next to me, between Hermione and I. He leaned over and whispered quietly.

"Meet me at midnight at me cabin. Come invisible."

"Alright," I whispered back. He smiled and got up, following Moody away from us. Isa raised an eyebrow and I went to her to explain quietly.

"You might be late for Sirius," She said quietly.

"I'll be fast," I said. "You and Harry can stall him:"

That night at half past eleven, I snuck downstairs to the Common Room. I instructed Harry and Isa what to tell Sirius if somehow I got back late and I went down to Hagrid's hut with the invisibility cloak.

When I arrived I knocked on Hagrids door. Hagrid opened it and looked over me.

"Giselle? You there?" He whispered.

"Yeah," I whispered.

"Got summat to show yeh," Hagrid said, beginning to walk to the Beauxbatons carriage.

"Where are you—?"

It didn't need to be answered, because Hagrid walked right to the door of the carriage and knocked. Madam Maxime exited, asking if it was time.

Time for what?

Hagrid and Madame Maxime began to walk with their giant steps into the Forbidden Forest. I had a little trouble keeping up, because I was a bit tall for the cloak, and I had little idea what was going on.

About halfway into the Forest the air went stil. Suddenly, there was a loud roar and I nearly slammed into Hagrid out of surprise. He led Madam Maxime around a stump of trees and stopped.

Four enormous dragons were right in front of us, snarling at the wizards who were trying to contain them. There were about eight wizards per dragon, struggling to quench their rage and keep them from killing someone.

"Keep back there, Hagrid!" A wizard yelled. "They can shoot fire at a range of twenty feet, you know. I've seen this Horntail do forty!"

Stunning spells jetted out from wands of wizards, which hit one of the bigger dragons and knocked it out.

"What breeds you got there, Charlie?" Hagrid asked.

I smiled at the sight of the familiar figure, but knew I couldn't come any closer.

"This is the Hungarian Horntail," Charlie said, pointing at the dragon that had just been stunned. "That small one's a Common Welsh Green, the blue-gray a Swedish Short Snout, and the red one is a Chinese Fireball."

Charlie then frowned to Hagrid. "I didn't know you were bringing her. The champions aren't supposed to know what's coming— she's bound to tell her student, isn't she?"

"Just thought she'd like to see 'em," Hagrid said with a shrug.

"Really romantic, Hagrid," Charlie said with a wince.

"Four..." Hagrid murmured. "So it's one fer each champion, what have they got ter do, fight 'em?"

My heart skipped a beat.
