"It's interview day!" Danai shouted as she pulled Bex up off of the floor. Nash had to take Bex's plate from her very quickly before she dropped it.
It was one more day of giving the Capitol attention. She would do what she needed to do. She'd make it all believable.
But she did know that she wasn't going to play the weak card again. She wasn't going to play the same cards as last time.
Bex had full faith in Danai when the pair walked into a changing room. She was sure Woof would take less time than her.
Cecelia was sitting in the corner, looking at her tablet. From the second she stepped in the Capitol she was back in mentor mode and boy was she good at it, "Just tell the truth...I'm not stupid, nor am I blind." Cecelia told her
Bex nodded, she wanted to talk to Finnick before hand so she just hoped Danai and her minions would speed up doing her hair and makeup, "I'll just bounce off of whatever he says."
"I can't lie. It must be pretty easy pretending to be in love with the Golden Boy." Danai commented as she curled a piece of Bexs' hair
Bex caught her eye in the mirror, "He hates that name. More than anything."
If there was one thing that was always going to get Bex on the defensive was people calling her The Golden Girl and Finnick, the Golden Boy. The meaning and the history behind those names hurt too much for people to just throw them around.
Cecelia rolled her eyes when Caesar came onto the screen, he sat down before waving at everyone, "Thank you, thank you. Thank you for being here tonight on the eve of the seventy-fifth Hunger Games. We have never seen anything like this. And we will never see anything like it again. Because tonight, on this stage, twenty-four of Panem's brightest stars will vie for the ultimate crown.
