Bex found it funny that everyone thought Annie was insane since she won her games, but she wasn't as crazy as everyone thought. Not to Bex anyway.
Every Victor was slightly insane. And Annie was a very interesting person to Bex.
"People in Four used to talk to me like a child. They didn't see me as a human." Annie told her as the pair walked down the hallway, Bex was on her way to find Nash and Annie just happened to find her
"Don't they do the same here? Pretend you don't have a fucking clue what's going on because you've been written off as insane?" Bex asked, "Were probably the ones that know the most on what's going on."
Annie nodded. The pair weren't too different, "I've been deemed too fragile. But I guess you have too...you're just doing it for all the insane people."
Bex smiled, "Being insane has its perks." Annie laughed and it was genuine that time. "Broken people aren't fragile. We're still alive aren't we?"
"I guess we are...I'm glad you make Finnick happy, I hope he makes you happy too."
Bex nodded with a smile, "He does. Always has...how about you and the guy from Thirteen? I've seen you around."
This time it was Annie's turn to smile, "He's a good man. Understands me in ways others don't."

A Victor meeting had been called, people were getting ready to go out and fight. The Victors had been called for the fight, but not all of them. And that's what they were worried about. So every single Victor even Annie, Lucy-Gray and Delila were in the room.
"They can't do this. They can't split us up, not again. We can fight, better than most." Cashmere argued as she paced around the room. Isla and Johanna were being left behind.
Bex thought that was a stupid move on Coin's part. Isla had rigged an entire District and took it back from the Peacekeepers and Johanna brutally won her games, they needed them both.
"I failed my test that's why they're keeping me here. They'd keep Bex back if they could." Johanna said, she was furious everyone could tell but she wasn't openly showing it, just sitting back in her chair, with her feet resting up on a table.
