When the morning came around the unit was already getting ready to move out, "Listen up." Boggs called as he held a gun up for everyone to see, "Mags empty, it's only for the propo." He said as he gave the gun to Peeta who reluctantly took it from the man, "Let's move. We're headed five blocks north."

"Let's do this damn thing." Cashmere sighed as she pushed herself up from the ground

Gloss held out his hand and pulled Bex up from the ground, "I still got your back." She smiled knowing he wasn't going back on his deal.

As the group were walking down the street, Finnick, Peeta and Bex were walking together, the couple trying to help Peeta with Peeta's speech, "To the citizens of the Capitol, our war is not with you." Finnick started

Everything they said he would repeat, trying to engrave it into his brain as much as possible, before he would have to do it to the cameras.

"You will be a vital part in the democracy that follows our victory."

Even as the words came out of Bex's mouth she hated them, it made her feel it. But she smiled when Peeta said it back to her, "You got it."

Peeta nodded, "Okay, thank you. Both of you."

"We'd be pretty shitty if we left you alone," Finnick told him

"Boggs!" Cressida called out, walking to the front of the group, "This is a good spot." She said, "Down there through the courtyard."

The group had barely passed the archway before the Holo started beeping, "I got a pod." Boggs said, "Split take cover."

Bex nodded to Finnick as they both separated to hide behind the walls, Bex and Peeta were on one side. Picking up a small rock, Boggs through the stone through the gateway, it barely went a meter before huge guns appeared from both sides shooting bullets anywhere they could.

Bex leaned down and covered her ears as the shots rang, they were so loud, louder than they should have been but that may have just been her. It was that, that feeling in her brain when all those shots were echoing around her that told her one thing.
