Now wasn't the time to be scared. The Gamemakers would start using that. So she pushed everything to the back of her mind. She didn't have the time to think. If she thought then she would spiral.
The Arena had calmed down, nothing was spinning. The Tracker-Jacker affects had stopped her physically, she was seeing normally. But they didn't stop in her mind
"So Brutus is still out there. So's Finnick, Mags, Johanna, Blight, Twelve and Woof." Gloss listed people who were in the alliance that were still alive.
Cashmere, Gloss and Bex had been walking for god knows how long. Most of their people were alive which was good. They still had a chance.
The only wildcards in the arena were Brutus, Tanner and James from Ten.
"Our main focus has to be on Brutus and Tanner. James will be an easy target. Keep him to the end." Cashmere said, and it made sense. Brutus and Tanner were the main problems, especially if they aligned together, which with the rest of the Careers either with Bex or dead then it was likely.
The trio stopped when they heard a voice, "We need to get them out of the way, sooner rather than later."
"Twelve." Bex muttered, that was the voice of Katniss Everdeen
She smiled when she heard the voice she had been waiting for, "We should be looking for water before we all dehydrate but by all means, go take care of the Career Pack. Just don't think we'll be here when you do."
"You stay, Reb. We need to go." Gloss said as the Trio moved behind a tree, "She won't trust as as far as she can throw us. If we can take care of Brutus and Tanner, give everyone more of a shot. Brutus thinks you're dead."
Cashmere nodded, "If we can get an alliance with him, then we can take him out. Say we killed you."
"I don't like the idea of us splitting up." Bex shook her head
Cashmere just gave her a look, "We'll find you. Or you'll find us, worked before. Please don't die before then."
Bex just nodded as the Siblings ran in the opposite direction from the other group.
