In which a Victor from District 8 isn't supposed to have relationships but grows closer to a Victor from District 4.

In the main room, Finnick had his arm firmly around Bex, he didn't know what was going on. But he knew she wasn't in control and he knew she was keeping something from him. He could always tell when she was hiding something.
Everyone looked up when the Capitol anthem sounded through the room and something in all the Victors in the room shuddered as holographic photos appeared on the screen, followed by a canon.
It was all a Game to them.
Bex laughed slightly when her picture came up.
Rebecca Dreesen – District Eight
"Oh here comes trouble." Cashmere groaned when President Snow came onto the screen
Blight also groaned as he leaned back where he was sitting, "Brace yourselves, kids."
"So, Katniss Everdeen, a poor unstable girl with nothing but a small talent with a bow and arrow is dead. Not a thinker, not a leader. Simply a face plucked from the masses."
Bex had to admit that part was kind of true, if it wasn't her then Plutarch would have picked someone else. She was just a face that Plutarch chose.
"Was she valuable?" Snow asked, "She was extremely valuable to your rebellion because you have no vision, no true leader among you. You call yourselves an alliance but we saw what that means. Your soldiers are at each other's throats."
All the Victors looked at each other, their alliance still stood as strong as ever. They had never fought with each other and they never would.
A static came over the screen and another face replaced Snow's, "Oh shit." Bex said when she saw Coin, something else was going on.
"Good evening. For those who do not know me, please allow me to introduce myself. I am President Alma Coin, the leader of this rebellion. I have interrupted a broadcast from your president in which he tried to defame a brave young woman."
From across the room Cashmere and Bex shared a look, one that wasn't impressed.
"A face picked from the masses he called her. As if a leader, a true leader could be anything else. I had the privilege of knowing a small-town girl from the seam District in District Twelve who survived the Hunger Games and the Quarter Quell and rose up and turned a nation of slaves into an army. Dead or alive, Katniss Everdeen will remain the face of this revolution. She will not have died for nothing."
