They say District 8 is the most rebellious district. Their Victors are a good example of that.
In which a Victor from District 8 isn't supposed to have relationships but grows closer to a Victor from District 4.

Isla hated every second of her Victory Tour and Bex didn't blame her. It was never a fun thing to go around the Districts possibly talking about the people that you had killed. Districts One and Two were not happy in the slightest.
But she got through it. The newest Victor moved into Victors Village...alone. The little girl who she volunteered for was not waiting for her big sister when she came home. Which broke a little part of Isla.
Snow hadn't wanted Eight to win again. He wasn't happy that they did.
Bex knew that living in a big house alone wasn't the best so Isla just moved in with her instead. It was nice having people in the house again. Yes, Nash stayed there every so often but Isla was there permanently. Bex wasn't about to have another Kieran situation.
Isla was a typical Victor. The freak outs, the nightmares. But over the year they had gotten better, she had begun to be okay again.
As had Bex, there weren't many Capitol parties that year and even if there were Sejanus would be there for most of them. Her back had healed but sometimes Bex spotted Sejanus looking at her with guilt all over his face.
But the year had gone too fast. And another Reaping Ceremony was coming up. For the 74th Annual Hunger Games. And something told Bex this would be an interesting Game.

Bex should have known that a three year streak was going to be impossible. Her Tributes were not promising, she hated that she thought that but she did all the same. Nash counted them as dead the second they stepped onto the podium. Alex really affected him and he swore to never get attached again.
Bex's tribute was a fourteen year old, Katie Rowan. A brunette girl who looked terrified. Who looked like she didn't know how to use a sewing machine let alone a sword. Even an arena full of swords was not going to get her anywhere.
Nash's male tribute wasn't any better. fifteen year old Jack Blanch, neither of them would be Victors. Which meant that Bex had to deal with Brutus rubbing it in her face for the next few weeks.
