"I'm still traumatised you know," James grimaced, rolling his eyes at the mere thought of that night. The night Sirius and Hallie went to the astronomy tower. Alone.
Sirius swore incoherently under his breath, as he stood determinedly in the mirror perfecting his hair. The first quidditch match of the year was to commence that afternoon - a bloodthirsty battle between the Slytherin and Gryffindor teams, who were both extremely eager to secure the quidditch cup.
"For the last and final time Prongs, we were not fucking," Sirius replied with a determined roll of his eyes. He glanced over at a smirking Peter. "Sadly," he mouthed, causing James to smack him around the head.
James grimaced, trying to take the image from his mind.
*FLASHBACK*
The Marauders, bar Sirius, were all sitting around in the common room, lazily draped across the sofas. It had been well over an hour since Sirius had gone up the astronomy tower to meet Hallie, leaving the boys to find their own sources of entertainment.
"Snapping!" James cheered, throwing his card down on the table with an enthusiastic grin.
The two boys opposite him shared an amused glance.
"For the last time James, the game is called snap, not 'snapping,'" Remus snorted, picking up the card James had dumped onto the table. "Plus you do realise the cards had to actually match Prongs. You can't just throw down anything."
James rolled his eyes feverishly. "This game is so bloody stupid. Why can't muggles come up with good games to play?"
"It is a good game Prongs," Peter laughed. "You're just not very good at it."
James placed a feigned hand to his heart. "You take that back!"
Peter pretended to think, before grinning mischeviously. "Nah."
Remus rolled his eyes at the now squabbling teen boys, as they rolled around dramatically on the floor. Whilst they were preoccupied, Remus grabbed the map from the table spotting Sirius and Hallie's names instantly. The three boys had been checking the map every 10 minutes or so, to make sure the two were fine. With the war brewing and more of the Slytherins turning over to the dark side, the boys were not prepared to take any chances.
Remus glanced down at the map again, noticing the two sets of footprints moving closer together. A wicked smirk made its way onto his lips. "They're awfully close together on the map," Remus mused, noticing as James' head instantly whipped towards him. In two seconds, both boys had joined Remus in staring at the map.
"Holy shit!" Peter laughed, noticing as James' face had paled in horror. However not even a second later, the footprints had overlapped completely.
"Oh no no no no no," Peter gasped, covering his eyes in horror. "I don't want to see that! I want to stay innocent forever!"
"Sirius and Hallie overlapping on the map?" James questioned in confusion, before the thought finally clicked in his brain. "Oh shit! Sirius and Hallie overlapping on the motherfucking map!"
Remus laughed, as James became even more panicked. Peter from the other side of him still had his eyes covered from the 'sheer horror.'
"He's defiling my sister!"

"Alright team. Line up!" James hollered, as the team simultaneously grabbed their brooms. The changing room was pervaded with a deafening silence, directly contrasted with the blaring noises of the crowds from just metres beyond the doors.
