Kaylia stood at the entry way of the home with tears gathering in her eyes. Her heart was thudding against her chest, it almost felt like it would jump out at any moment. Her small hands were startling to shake from the anger and overwhelming sadness coursing through her body.

She had thought that she would never see the Cullens ever again, not after what happened. Yet here they were back in their once abandoned home, littering around like insects. She didn't know why she came here, just that she could feel something pulling her and telling her to be here. She knew it was the bond playing with her actions. She felt as if she wasn't in control of her own self.

Seeing them all looking at her as if they never left killed her. She felt another wave of pain come crashing through her body like when they left in the first place. But this, this was different.

This was the pain of knowing that they weren't gone. They hadn't disappeared into oblivion and forgotten about her. They came back for whatever reason. Now they think they can just come back into her life like nothing ever happened. As if they didn't leave her in a house with only a letter, crying her heart out as they abandoned her and her Ella. Her whole body was shaking out of anger now. But her heart was trying to pull her in the direction of them.

It's was comical almost, she felt like she could start laughing. How cruel were they to tell her they wouldn't be back, only to show up unannounced. They were the ones who said they could not love her anymore. They were the ones who told her to forget them and they would do the same. They had been the cause of all her grief and shame. It felt like a sick joke they were playing with her. Telling her without words that they could go and come as they pleased in her life. It made her feel lesser, useless, and unloved.

She hated that she ever gave them the power to do that in the first place.

What was she thinking? When she first meet them and her instincts were telling her to run away. She should have fled and never got herself tangled up in their twisted affair. In a way she played herself.

Kaylia let her tears fall as she forced her body to turn around and walk away. The Cullens letting her go as dread and shame crept in.

She would forgive eventually, but the wounds would be deep always.
