My family and I are lobbying around the music room. Edward's playing a new tune for us that he made dedicated to the whole family. My back is pressed against the wall as I watch him play, memorized at his talent. The other couples stood or sat around the room, looking through books or just watching the piano being played. Between watching my family, I was texting back and forth with Angela. She being one of the only humans that I still communicated with. She thinks I'm on vacation for a while. I wanted full control before I saw my friend again. My arms are crossed against my chest as I take in the moment. The energy in the room is light, everyone is relaxed and in good moods. We have been having a lot of moments like this lately. I liked just sitting back and observing everyone. I didn't need to talk or participate in every little thing to feel like I belonged. Having a family and people that I love and they love me back is enough. I don't think that I can ever get old of this.
Alice abruptly stands and freezes in front of her chair. I had seen this happen many times, but watching her dissociate with reality will never not be weird. Seeing her have a vision was like watching someone day dream but for minutes other than seconds.
Her visions usually come at her will. She has to go searching for something if she wants a vision on demand . She can tap into hers and others visions on demand. But if there is something in the future that she's not looking for; something triggers a reaction from her and she falls into that state. The visions that come without her looking for it are typically something that is a direct action to or with her. She has to be involved for it to just trigger at random. Unless it's a direct threat to someone or something she is in relations with, then that could be a trigger as well.
I thought seeing the future was cool as fuck. But then I wouldn't want to know everything, I'm more of a go with the flow type of person. If I could see the future I would become the problem. The whole problem.
"Stop" Alice calls frantically when we all try to move to her. Everyone paused and looked around worriedly. I kept my focus on the short haired girl as her face fills either fear and something else I can't put my finger on. Edward's piano Keyes fly off the keyboard as his fist smashes into it. His glare pointed at Alice's head. I move to him and grab his hands that are in a tight clench pulling him away from the piano.
