Warning: I am terrible at describing fighting scenes so this is very rushed. Sorry if it sucks lmao.

Eyes locked on my target, I watched them from the shadows; body concealed by darkness. I stayed silent as I lurk behind them, keeping an eye on their every move. The dark clothing I wore helping me be one with the dark, hair pulled back into a tight bun on the back of my head. A scent blocker on my body so I wouldn't be able to be sensed. I wouldn't make any mistakes this time, I came here to do what I needed to. These people ruled with an iron fist, tearing apart others just because they could. Stealing people from families, covens, lovers. It wasn't right, they held no morals.

I wanted to be the better person, I should have just been able to take the win and go. But I knew worse was to come days from now, weeks, months, maybe even centuries. But it would come, and I wouldn't let the natural disaster touch the ground. I needed to end it before it came. I believed I was being the bigger person by ending something that had destroyed thousands before. Me doing this, would give back power to all of those who had been forced to their knees by the Kings. Revenge is nothing, if not sweet.

Nobody knew I was here except for Ezra. He was the one concealing my thoughts from Aro and Edward. We had planned this behind the scenes way before the Volturi had came to Forks. I knew Ezra was around here somewhere, invisible to the eye as he helped me get this job done. He had his own reasons for doing this as well, it wasn't just because I wanted to see them fall. He had his own history with a particular king that he wanted to get his own vengeance against. I would back him up no matter what just like any of us would for the rest.

Knowing that Caius had been the one to slaughter Ezra's brotherhood. The other witches in his coven, killed just because they were different. Because Caius thought vampires were superior, the all godly beings. When in reality there were more supernatural creatures that anybody could even begin to imagine, Vampires were just the tip of the ice burg. I knew there were shifters, witches, vampires, and protectors like myself.

As one of the people leave the room, I flash up behind the lone male before he can even blink. Hands grabbing both sides of his face, and with a quick flick of my wrist; his head snaps to the right. I pull his head from him body with pure ease. Nothing but frozen and cracked skin in sight. As his body moves to tumble to the ground, I grab his limp arm and slowly lower the body. Turning the head, eyes blink at me, still alive for now. But I press my pointer finger to his forehead with a simple tap, and he lights ablaze.

I follow the other males scent that was in the room, leading me to a closed door. Inside I can hear a male voice talking, I knock on the door and wait for it to open. The door flys open and I run at the man, the door closing behind us as we fight against one another. My hands wrap around his head, but he's quicker and I go flying through the air: body crashing into the wall. Before I can stand he overpowers me and is holding me in a chokehold, his other hand holding my hair and keeping my head pull back. I hear and feel the cracks in my skin, as I frantically look around for anything. I toss my legs into the air, feet connecting with a wall and I throw up both back. His body slamming into the ground, floors denting under our bodies. His hold loosens and I spin around taking him into a chokehold now. Payback. It takes a moment of struggling and me taking more hits to my body, but eventually he is decapitated. Huffing I light him on fire and stand there for a moment to allow myself time to heal.

I slip out of the room as my fire disappears and the body is gone. No traces that the man or the other was ever there to begin with, a partner of the royal guard dead to the world for the second and final time. My feet walk down the long corridors, skin vibrating with a red iridescent hue, hungry for a fight. The fiery red swirls in my eyes looking for its next victim as adrenaline courses through my body. My hand twirls and curls at odd angles while doors along my path fly open with my powers. There would be no mistaking that I had arrived, if they didn't know I was here before then they should know now. The door to the throne room was at the very end of the dark hall, I had been here once before. For two very different reasons.
