Seth and I walk back to our camping area after a good ten minutes. He had let me rent to him about how shitty this all was; not that he had a choice since he had been phased. Seth had nudged me until I started walking back to the other two, making sure I made it safely.

"Kaylia" Edward says holding his hand out. I step over to him and grab on. He gives me a squeeze to make sure I am still here. I send a tight smile back and let go, standing next to Bella.

The male pauses as he looks down slightly. I knew he was searching as far out as he could. So he could hear the other's thoughts.

"It's starting" Edward announced. We all look at each other sharing a look of worry. My body tense up completely knowing that my mates and friends are in danger. Knowing about the battle in advance didn't make it any better. I knew that everyone could fight and be ruthless. But my bond as a protector still lay loyal to the Cullens. I wanted to run down hill after them.

"Is someone hurt?" Bella asked when Edward froze again.

He gasped, "She's close. I can hear her thoughts, Seth go!" He says making Seth run off quickly. I wish nothing but safety and for the gods to protect him and the others as I watch him leave.

Bella quickly makes way to Edward, tucking against his side. I move to stand next to them with Bella and Edward to my right. My hands drop to my sides and I feel the familiar tingle of red hot energy flow to the tips.

"She knew you'd be with me," he says scanning his eyes around, "And hoped you would be here too," he states looking directly at me.

None of us knew that she would be after me as well. But I figured she would be, she had attacked me before and almost had me. And I slipped right through her fingertips. Cause she hesitated.

"She found us" Bella shivered.

Edward looked forward, "She's not alone. She crossed my scent, following the newborns to watch. She never meant to fight with them. She made a spur of the moment decision to find me, guessing that you both would be wherever I was. She was right. Kaylia, you were right, it was always Victoria."
