The ride back home was an eventful one. I knew once we made it home there would be a lot of challenges ahead, but for a moment in that car I could just relax and not think about all the problems surrounding me. Ezra and Lilith are great company and they had me laughing with stories that they had told me.

Finding out that my birth mom was a completely different person from what I knew changed my life. Even if I had only spent a few hours getting to know Lilith, she filled a hole in me that I didn't know needed filled. I knew that it would take a long time for me to see her as my mother, but when I do let my worried go and accept her. I like to think that it wouldn't be so bad.

Now Ezra is something else completely, he is apart of me. Someone that I have already accepted as my better half. I obviously wanted to get to know more about him and his life before I jump into anything. But there would be no way in hell that I would turn him away.

I guess that my only concern was how my coven mates would act. Would they be accepting? Would they treat Ezra fairly? Would Ezra even like them? Once he lets us all would he even want to stay? So many things ran through my head. I know that it wouldn't really matter if my mates accept him or not, because I already have. But you can never be too sure sometimes.

My mate had allowed me to drive his car, I flew down the roads so fast at an inhuman speed that no other car would even be close to matching me. A few cops along the highway had tried to stop me a few times but I would disappear from their sights only moments later. A human driving it would take hours if not days to make it to Forks, but I could make it in less than a few hours.

Rosalie and I had spoken on the phone shortly after we took off towards home. She said everyone was freaking out after I disappeared and she scolded me for being so reckless. Her anger didn't last too long when I explained everything leading up to me heading back.

Now it was just us three on the road, Lilith sleeping in the backseat and Ezra and I talking about any and everything.

"So miss Cooper, what's your family like?," Ezra quietly asked, "I'm not going to the life sucked out of me when I step on their property...am I?"

I chuckled keeping my eyes on the road, "No, but I feel like you would like that."

"Probably," he laughed, "No but really, what are they like?"

"You have nothing to fear. They are the kindest people that you will ever meet. Your family now as well, they couldn't be mean to you even if they tried," I stated, "You may want to fear Alice though....she'll make you change your wardrobe every few months."

"I'm always up for trying new things" he confessed. The boy in the short time I have know him had one quality that really stood out. He wasn't judgmental at all, and always had good things to say. He would be good for me.

A fond smile graces my lips as I talk about my family, "Now you and Emmett will be best friends. I'm sure of it because you're just alike. He's flirty, sarcastic and cuddly. The perfect goofball as I like to fall him. Carlisle is a doctor, he takes care of everyone wherever he can and you'll never hear a bad thing come out of his mouth. Esme is his wife and she's like a mint her figure to the others, she very caring and doesn't have a bad bone in her body. Rosalie is feisty, she has a temper but it's all in good will. She's a tough nut to crack, but when you get to know her you will see that she just loves so much that it's hard for her to express it. Edward can be a bit challenging at times, and he's very playful when he wants to be but also always focused on something. He is very protective of the ones he loves. Alice is like an angel, she always tries to see the best in people and she tries not to stray too far from the path she built. She's so energetic and sweet that you can have a bad time ever if you are either her. Now Jasper, he's one of the strongest people that I know. He had not the best upbringing as a vampire but he found his solace. He's a fighter and he will stand up for what he believes in."
