The meadow was bustling with life; small animals like bunnies running through the fields, and birds chirping in the sky. The sun had just risen and a golden almost pink tint from the sky shined over the grass and flowers.
It's a week after the mountain incident. I've been doing everything I could to not think of it. My family was doing a good job of keeping me busy.
My senses are left open allowing me release my energy with full control. Jasper was helping me expand my gifts, teaching me the best he can. I wanted to be able to use my whole body with my gift.
"Can you feel it around you?" Jasper asked. He stood a couple feet away from me. Giving me room to practice my powers.
"It feels like it's surrounding me" I tell him. After practicing for so long, my powers felt like they were getting stronger. It's been a while since I lost full control. The last time I did my powers had thrown my body back and forth across a field. Like it was trying to push me away but pull me back. I hated that feeling.
"You and your powers must be one. Don't let it take over you," he explains, "Let it work along side you. Embrace it, but don't loose it."
"Okay" I softly answer. My eyes are swirling red as I focus my attention in front of me. Jasper starts throwing things at me as I force the objects away from me. After a while of dodging, burning, and throwing rocks, boulders, and trees away from me; I decide to fuck with Jasper.
The red strings of magic make their way over to him, I watch as he looks at me with a warning while I grin. My energy swirls and curls around him, grabbing onto him. I giggle when his eyes widen as he's picked up in mid air.
"Darlin," he growls in warning, "Put me down."
I just laugh at him and make him fly higher into the air. I was not hurting him, just letting him fly around. It was all too funny to me how he was bobbing around like a bobble head. As I move him around the open space I see him give up. His head dropping down as he gives in.
Deciding I've had enough fun, I pull him my way. Wrapping my arms around him and releasing my magic back into my skin. Jasper sighs and holds me tight against him.
"That will never not feel weird" He stated. My chuckles of joy ring throughout the open air.
"I think it was pretty cool. I could make you into a vampire kite" I tease.
Jaspers frown falling off his face and creeping into his own smile. My emotions of joy making him feel the effects of my feelings. Jasper presses a kiss against my neck and lets me go. When he meets my eyes I see a smirk on his lips. I back up a few steps so he can't touch me.
"You asked for it," he laughs reaching out trying to grab me.
"Not today" I yell before pushing my body off the ground and flying into the air.
