"Why the fuck do I have to come?" I hissed at Edward. I was sitting in his car in the front seat annoyed. Bella was already standing outside the vehicle talking to Jacob.

"Because while we hunt and try to find some leads. You will at least be protected with the wolves, no matter how much I hate the idea of you and Bella going there" Edward answers.

"I literally live with you. I'd be fine at the house while you guys go out. I don't think this stranger would willingly go into a house full of vampires and a chosen one" I state.

"I know. But it'll give us a peace of mind knowing you're safe as well. I won't chance it when I can't protect you while I'm gone" Edward states.

"I can protect myself, I don't need their help. I could be out there with you guys. Helping in some way. I can't help here" I replied looking out the window at the still trees. Does he think I am weak? I have fucking powers for gods sake. I could just light the whole town on fire if I wanted.

"I don't think you're weak," he says digging in my mind, "I know that you don't need ours or anyone else's protection. But it makes me feel better knowing that we can look out for you."

I turn to look at him. Ready to argue, "Still-

"Angel, please," he begs, "You don't have to put all the burden on yourself. I know you want to protect all of us. And I love that about you. I know, you can protect us, me. But can you do this one thing for me?" He asked his hand resting against my cheek.

"I'm going because you asked so nicely. I'm not doing this for them," I look at the two outside the car, "I'm doing this to give you and my family a peace of mind. But the first time one of you gets hurt or even gets grazed by something. Call me right away."

Edward nods his head with a smile, and pecks my lips. I could totally tell he knew he won this one. Egotistical jerk!

He laughs a little at my thought, making me huff. But he leans back in giving me a passionate kiss. Our lips are locked together for what feels like hours, before I back away. I was almost dizzy afterwards.

"Be human, have some fun tonight" Edward adds backing away. He gets out of the vehicle and is opening my door faster than I can think. I grab his extended hand and he softly helps me out of the car.

"Humans not in my dna" is all I say.

"Doesn't he own a shirt?" Edward questions Bella looking at the tanned boy with a glare. I just chuckled at our mutual dislike of the boy.

Bella just sighed, "I'm good here, you should go."

"I'm not gonna be going long" Edward says to us.

Bella speaks before I can, "Don't rush. You need to hunt."

Edward steps forward and pulls the brunette into a kiss. Making sure to glare at Jacob afterwards. Yes! Assert your dominance....or whatever!

"Maybe you rush a little bit" Bella whispered in a dreamy like tone.

"By Eddie. Don't miss us too much" I smirked watching him get in his car. He sends me a wink and zooms off.

"Hey, beautiful" Jacob flirts as soon as our man is gone. Gosh he really has a lot of balls. Did he not just see the kiss Edward just gave her. Like honestly get a life. And even though I'm hurt and angry with Bella she is still my girlfriend. What a dick. Seriously, how do people like this guy?

Bella says hi to him and he pulls her into a hug. I huff in annoyance for the fifth time today. I haven't broken my record yet. I'm sure I'll get there the longer I'm in his presence.
