Chapter 10

Alexander's POV

Leilani left before i could explain that Cole and i just fell asleep next to each other. Great now a hot girl thinks I'm gay.

"Damn it."i muttered shutting the door. "Go away." Cole groaned. "Get up. We have to go."I said picking up one of his shirts and throwing it on. "What time is it?" He asked with his eyes half open.

"Probably the most awkward moment of my life." I said. "That's what you said when you got your braces. What's wrong this time?"Cole asked.

"Lani just walked in and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm gay." I said. "Are you?" Cole asked making me glare. "Of course not."i responded.

"I don't know... you've never dated or even kissed a girl before." Cole said suspiciously. "Yeah neither have you."i defended. He shrugged getting up.

"Let me just get ready. "He said walking to the bathroom. "Stop checking out my ass perv."he said. "I wasn't. "I said rolling my eyes.

He walked out of the bathroom minutes later fully dressed.
"Are you still upset that the princess pulled you out of the closet?" Cole asked .

"For the last time. I am not gay."i said. "Whatever floats your boat. Just know I'd be an excellent partner. "He said confidently. I rolled my eyes at his pride.

"If it bothers you that much then you should explain to her." Cole suggested. "That's going to be so awkward i don't even know her."i said.

"I can get you two alone to talk about this. Why do you think they call me cupid?"he asked opening the door and walking out.

"No one calls you that."i said following him out. He rolled his eyes. "That's not the point. My point is, I'll handle it." He said. We did our handshake and headed down for breakfast.

We got down to find Alan, Kelly and Leilani eating. Lani wouldn't even look at us. Cole and i sat at either side of Alan and Cole must have told Alan what happened because he choked. I poured him a glass of water. He drank it and smirked.

We served ourselves. Well, Cole did. When we were done eating, Cole suddenly spoke up telling Kelly she was going with him. After a little convincing she agreed.

Cole took Kelly's arm and dragged her towards the door. He winked at me and they left. After my two bestfriends ditched me Lani and i decided to get going.

After a very awkward conversation i said the dumbest thing imaginable. "What?"she asked.

I shrugged."Why would you think that?"she asked. "I don't know i mean when we met i felt something. Didn't you?"i asked. "Well that could mean anything. "She said. "Yeah i know but it just seems like-" i was cut off by her phone ringing.

She looked at the caller ID and smiled. I don't know why i felt a flicker of jealousy. "Sorry i have to take this." She said smiling.

I nodded but i couldn't help but wonder who the hell is making her so happy. Her smile really pretty though but who caused it.
