Chapter 41

Leilani's POV

After breakfast I followed Alex who seemed to be in a hurry. "Alex?" I called. He paused and turned around. "Yeah?"he responded. "I could get some people to take us out. Do you think Shaun would want that?" I asked.

"Umm yeah of course. He'll need a distraction. I'll see you later k?"he said quickly rushing off and leaving me confused. I'll go find Kelly then. Nevel wasn't in the living room or on his floor so I assumed he was with dad.

I found Kelly in her room using her phone. "Hey, i was thinking we could maybe go out to celebrate Shaun's birthday. You must know what he likes."I said sitting next to her..

"He'd want a place where the attention wouldn't be on him. How about a club?"she suggested. "We're all underage." I pointed out. "We're wolves." Kelly responded.

"Underaged wolves." I said back. "Lani, we're wolves. Pretty much every teenage wolf can go clubbing."she explained.

"Fine but no drinking." I stated. "Yeah, I'm going clubbing in the royal pack drinking soda."she said sarcastically rolling her eyes.

"Well we can't go clubbing in the morning so let's find the boys and see what they're up to." I suggested. We walked out of the room.

"Maybe afterwards we can go shopping." I said. Until I went to their pack it had been a while since left the house. Kelly has helped me get over it and now i want to show her my pack.

"Shopping in the royal pack. Awesome."Kelly squealed. "It's just a normal mall." I stated. "Yeah but with gowns and tiaras." She said dreamily. I chuckled.

"Have you ever seen me wearing a gown or tiara?" I asked. It looked like she was thinking. "So all that princess stuff from when we were kids..."she trailed off.

She looked as cute as Cole when Alan told him leprechauns don't make rainbows. "Actually,  we do wear those stuff but only when we want to or for public events. " I explained. "Wanna see?" I asked her.

She nodded enthusiastically. We went into my room and walked into my closet. I turned on the lights allowing Kelly to look around. She looked around the room with her jaw dropped. "It's now dawning on me that you're a real life princess." She said in shock.

I opened the glass doors so she could see the tiaras. "How aren't you stuck up?"she asked. "My mum and uncle would have killed me." I said chuckling.

About half of the room was filled with tiaras and gowns whilst the other half was filled with clothes i normally wear like jeans and crop tops. Same for Sophia actually but more hoodies.

She was holding one tiara with a green emerald at the center. "I think it'll suit you." I said placing it on her head. "It kills me how you guys are so hot without even trying. " I muttered. 

"Same way you hair is always so soft and thick. Seriously girl what conditioner do you use?" She asked. I laughed. "I don't know. I got them from Sophia's room. Speaking of Sophia, i should call and see if she wants to meet up." I said although I doubt that Sophia would want to hang out at the mall.

Kelly nodded. She quickly placed the tiara in the cabinet before we walked out. I found my phone and dialed Sophia's number. She answered on the first ring.

"I'm literally on a call right now,mum." I heard her say or more accurately, scream. "Hey Lani. What's up?"she asked,her voice going back to normal.

"Since I'm back home, I was wondering if you'd want to meet up. Kelly's here too and she wants to meet you." I said. "We're going to the mall." Kelly added.

"Ugh the mall. Really?" Sophia groaned. Even when my mum was alive, we'd have to drag Sophia with us to go shopping and make it up to her with food.

"We'll get food after." I added. "Come pick me up." She stated. "Sure. "I said hanging up.
"Okay well I'm going to get ready."Kelly stated. "I'm going to tell my dad we're heading out." I said.
