Leilani's POV
Did he just say mum? Alan's wolf stood before my eyes. He was completely black and about the same size as Alex.
Max stared at him in an awe. Alan didn't seem happy though. River growled and the crowd made way.
Alan dashed off with Cole and Alex right behind him shifting midway. Max growled. "Crystal what do you think you're doing?" He asked.
"Calm down Max, I came to see my son's transition." She responded. Kelly scoffed. "My son. You've missed so much why come now?" Max growled.
"It takes two to make a child."Crystal responded. "I wish you remembered that when you left him to raise Alan alone." Calvin growled stepping forward.
"Stay out off this Cal." Crystal said waving him off. "Maybe we should move this discussion inside?" Bertha suggested.
Crystal looked appalled. "Since when did omegas meddle in such matters. Who do you think you are?" She asked.
"I'm not going to stand here and listen to you insult the woman who actually raised your child." Max bellowed. Hurt flashed across Crystal's face but I didn't care.
After what she did to Alan, I think she deserves it.
Crystal got off the stage and the beta got everyone's attention back as Max, Calvin, Crystal and Bertha made their way into the house.
"I'm going after them." Shaun sighed. "I'm coming with you. He's my alpha." River stated. "Is everything okay?" Abby asked walking over with Celine.
"We'll find out. You girls stay together. We'll be right back. "River responded before he and Shaun walked away.
Kelly growled before walking towards the house. "Kelly." I called. She didn't listen. "I guess we're going in." I sighed following her.
"We'll keep an eye on Nevel and Ivy." Abby yelled after us.
"How dare you ruin this day for him?" Kelly growled barging into the living room. Crystal scanned her from head to toe.
"You look like Deborah..."she said trailing off. "Wow you still remember her. I thought you forgot us all." Calvin retorted.
"And you look like...it can't be." She whispered looking at me. "If you stuck around you would know that is Alyssa's daughter." Calvin stated.
"Why are you so against me, Calvin?" Crystal sighed. "Besides the fact that you abandoned your son?" He asked sarcastically.
"I never abandoned him." She cried. Calvin scoffed. "His first words. His first steps. First day of school. Damn it Crystal you abandoned him." Max yelled.
"Max, I'm sorry." She whispered. "No Crystal. You aren't." Max stated. "Forgive me, my love." She cried.
"Do you know what you put him through. Growing up without a mother. I tried my best to keep him from blaming himself.
I don't care about you leaving me, but hurting my son is something I'll never forgive you for." He added getting up.
"Leave my pack."he ordered in his alpha voice before walking away.
Crystal broke down crying. "You have to help me Calvin."she said sniffling. "I'm sorry Crystal but, you're on your own."Calvin responded, also leaving them room.
River walked in. "I'm sorry Lun-...you have to leave or I'll have guards escort you out." He said in full on beta mode.
"River. You were just a baby when I left. You're all so much older now." She said wiping her tears. Alex and Cole walked in shortly after.
