Chapter 15

Leilani's POV:

We got to class and I don't know what I'd prefer. Cole's constant jokes and babbling over Kelly and Shaun's arguments. 

"Slut." Kelly muttered. Yeah i think I'm gonna go with Cole's jokes. I've learnt more swear words in this period than whatever the teacher was going on about.

"Kels, i honestly don't know what your problem is."Shaun said. "You're obviously not going to stop using girls but leave my mum out of your crazy lies." Kelly said angrily.

"Okay, maybe that lie got out of hand."Shaun said raising his hands in defense. "Maybe? Half of the school thinks my mum is dead!" Kelly exclaimed throwing a book at Shaun .

I ducked to avoid impact considering i was in between them. It hit Shaun's head and he groaned, loudly. "Fuck."he muttered rubbing his head. 

"Kelsey,  Shaun and Leilani. Detention,  after class." The teacher bellowed from his desk. "See what you caused."they said in sync.

First day of school, first time in detention. The bell rang signaling the end of class. "Lani, I'm so sorry I dragged you into this." Kelly apologized as we walked out of the class. "It's okay, first time for everything right. "I said with a smile.

"Fuck, the guys will kill me." Shaun muttered as Cole and Alan strutted up to us looking like models. "You guys ready to go ?" Cole asked. "Where's Xan?"Shaun asked.

"Ditched."Alan responded. "Thank you moon goddess. "Shaun muttered. "Okay so we'll see you guys later. "Shaun said turning around to walk away pulling me with him. "Wait." Alan said, more like commanded.

"I don't care what you do but Xander said to bring the princess. " Alan said like i wasn't even there. "Hold up, Al." Cole said looking at Kelly like he was analyzing her.

"Are you guys in trouble? "He asked. "We may or may not have gotten detention. "Kelly admitted. "You're kidding. Kelly what the hell?"Alan asked.

"It was my fault guys. Kelly and Lani just got involved. I'll bring them home."Shaun said. "Yeah right."Alan scoffed. "Even I'm smart enough not to leave them with you."Cole said.

"You really think i would hurt them?"Shaun asked rolling his eyes. "No but Xander would hurt us."Cole said. "So are you going to wait?" Shaun asked .

"I have a plan. "Cole said. Before Alan could respond, Cole grabbed him slamming him against the lockers. "You have five seconds to explain whatever this is."Alan said calmly.

"Punch me."Cole whispered. "Dude no." Alan responded  obviously not wanting to hit Cole.

"Fucking go along."Cole said gesturing to something behind us. I noticed he was pointing to a Male teacher who was passing by.

Alan seemed to understand because he pinned Cole to the locker and pretended to punch him. "Hey! What is going on here!"he asked.

"I will be calling your parents."he threatened. "Really? "Alan asked in a way that made it clear who his father was.

The man gulped. "On second thought, maybe we shouldn't bother your parents. They are very busy.  To detention, now." He commanded. We nodded and headed to detention.

We walked into a classroom with only a few other students. I recognized one student though, Celine. Alan groaned. She looked surprised when she saw us.

Before she could open her mouth to say anything, Alan had already walked past her and gone to the back of the class.

Shaun followed him and Kelly and i went and sat on the seats in front of them. "By any chance are you going to tell Xander that i got them in trouble?"Shaun asked.

"Well we're not exactly home so he's gonna notice. "Cole said taking a seat at the other side of Alan.

"We can say we went to the mall."Shaun suggested. "I'm not lying to him."Alan stated bluntly. "How bad would it be to just tell him the truth?"i asked confused. Alex seems nice, why is he scared.

Shaun scoffed. "Xander and Alan are basically twins. Don't get either angry. "He said. Alan shrugged. "No...Xan is much more reasonable with his anger than Alan."Shaun said as if in thought.

"How bout i text Xander and tell him where we are."Alan said. "No. Al, wait. I'll tell him myself. " Shaun said. "It was my fault,  I'll handle it."he said.

"What about Bertha? "Kelly asked. "Who's Bertha?"i asked. "My mum. How about this? We don't tell her."Shaun suggested.

"I'm not lying to Bertha. "Cole said. "No Cole, no one's lying. We're just not telling her."Shaun said. "I will. "Alan muttered.Shaun rolled his eyes.

"You two got yourselves in detention. "He said. "Not according to what I'm gonna tell her."Alan said with a small smirk.

"Do you guys get detention a lot?" I asked. "Yep."Shaun and Alan said in sync. "I don't. "Cole said sadly. He honestly reminds me of Nevel. "Xander's gonna kill you." Alan chuckled .

"Yeah i get that. Thank you for pointing it out, Al."Shaun said glaring at Alan. Just then, the door opened and a man walked in. He said something to the teacher who nodded. The man then left.

"The five of you are free to go."The teacher said pointing at us. "Huh?"i asked confused. "Don't question it. Let's go."Alan said getting up and leading the way.

I followed. Someone grabbed my hand, it was Celine. "I warned you princess. You made the wrong choice. "She said.

"And I'm warning you to never touch her again. "Kelly said sweetly. She pulled me out of the class with her. "Don't worry about Celine. She hates everyone prettier than her."Kelly said.

"I guess I'll take that as a compliment." I chuckled. She smiled. "How come we were released but not the others?" I asked her.

"I recognize the man, his name is Raphael. He kinda works for Xander, so my guess is he already knows. "Kelly responded. "How?"i asked.

"He's an alpha. "She said with a shrug. She went off with Cole to their car and Shaun went into his. Is Alex trying to kill me?

Alone with the son of alpha Maximus. "You coming or not? "Alan asked when i just stood there. "Oh umm yeah." I said rushing towards the car.

He unlocked it and I got into the passengers seat. His car was black, inside and out.

He got into the driver's seat without a word and started the car. He glanced over at me before he pulled out of the parking lot.

We drove in silence for a while but I noticed he kept glancing at me from time to time. Oh my goodness, it's a trap isn't it.

He's going to kill me. I can't mind link yet but moon goddess tell my dad i love him. My uncle, Sophia and oh my sweet Nevel. This is how it's going to end for your sister.

"You can relax you know."he said looking at me weirdly. "Hmm?"i asked,  my heart pounding loudly in my chest for no apparent reason. He looked at my hands and i realized i was clutching the arm rest for my dear life.

I loosened my grip a little. "Sorry. "I murmured. "It's okay, i like being feared." He shrugged. "But i also like the leather to remain on the seat."he added making me chuckle a little.
