Alexander's POV
I was in Cole's room after getting dressed. I honestly don't know why girls keep so long putting on clothes. It's ridiculous, just pick something and wear it.
Okay, I can't really judge girls. If Shaun was here, he'd be like, I don't know what to wear. I'm not asking for your opinion though, you have terrible taste. I thought chuckling.
"Xander!" Cole screamed. "Huh?" I responded confused. "Shaun's still not back yet. Is he still not responding to your mind link? "Cole asked buttoning up his shirt.
"No, sorry." I responded. He sighed leaning against the wall. "I honestly don't feel like celebrating my 18th birthday without him. It's not the same." Cole murmured.
"Come on, he wouldn't want you missing it. He said he'd be back." I responded. "What if he doesn't come? My last words weren't exactly pleasant." Cole muttered.
"That's what I love about you two, you forgive easily. You'll be fine." I said wrapping my arm around his shoulder and ruffling his hair.
"Come on, I just styled it. "He whined. I chuckled. "Really though, happy birthday." I said. "Thanks."he responded, we did our handshake and headed out.
We decided to head to Nevel's room. We needed to make sure he was ready before Lani comes back out with her gun. We walked into Nevel's room to find him with Alan.
"What are you doing to Cole junior?" Cole asked crossing his arms. "What does it look like?" Alan muttered. I analyzed the scene before me and I didn't know what to say.
Nevel and Alan were both wearing black jeans with black tshirts and black leather jackets.
"This boy is going to have an identity crisis." I muttered looking at the boy with an innocent face and smile, but dressed like the devil.
"Nevel, are comfortable in that outfit?" I asked. "Yeah. "He said nodding. "Okay, then I guess that's alright." I sighed. "Can I go find Ivy?" He asked.
"Sure. Mask your scent and you can go down to Abby. Stay with her though, it's late. "I said. "Okay." He responded running down the stairs.
The girls were waiting downstairs with cute frowns on their faces. This would be the part where Shaun makes a comment and Kelly insults him.
'Dude, where are you? Please come home it's dangerous. I don't want to get our parents involved. ' I said through the midlink. Still nothing, he'd completely blocked me.
"Nev, where are you off to in such a rush?" Lani asked. "I told him he could meet up with Ivy." I responded, my eyes taking in her appearance from head to toe.
"Why's he dressed like that?" Kelly asked. "Ask Alan." Cole responded glaring at him. "Whatever, let's head down." Kelly muttered.
"Well, I'm starving." Cole said walking out. We followed. The pack house was mostly empty except from omegas rushing about with food trays.
Some stopped to wish Cole and Kelly a happy birthday since Cole practically grew up in the kitchen. We headed outside and the place was beautifully decorated with Cole and Kelly's favourite colors.
It had Aunt Debbie and Bertha's name all over. The blue balloons for Cole and lilac flowers for Kelly. Aunt Debbie spotted us and rushed over. She pulled Cole and Kelly into a tight hug.
"My babies."she squealed. "Mum, can't...breathe. "they said in sync. She pulled away. "You're all growing up so fast." She said wiping a tear.
"Please don't start crying." Cole said pulling her into another hug. "Next thing I'm going to hear is that you've met your mates. "She said sniffling.
