Leilani's POV
I woke up early the next morning, excited to be going back home. I missed my dad, my uncle and Nevel. I'll probably visit Sophia since she's still in the royal pack. Just not home.
I wasn't taking my clothes with me because I have more back home. I did what I had to do before heading downstairs. Kelly was in the kitchen with her parents and Calvin.
Calvin of course was drinking, with Debbie arguing with him. "I'm trying to stay hydrated. What's your problem? "He asked. "Ever heard of water? "Debbie asked.
"It's optional. "He simply stated with a shrug. Kelly was sitting next to her dad, both of them totally ignoring the argument.
"How do you feel about going back home?" Dean asked me with a smile similar to Cole's. "Well I miss my family and I really want them to meet Kelly and the others."i responded.
There some muttering coming from the stairs and Alex and Alan walked down carrying a sleeping Cole. "Lay him on the couch." Kelly said. The living room was visible from the kitchen.
Alex and Alan looked at each other with a smirk. "Do not throw the boy." Alan's dad commanded coming down the stairs. They sighed and walked into the living room to set Cole down.
"I'll get Shaun, you get their bags." I heard Alex say. His voice sounds so hot when he gives orders. "Are you even listening to me?" Kelly asked disrupting my thoughts.
"Umm...what?" I asked when i noticed she was now standing next to me. "You're a lost cause." She sighed. Some omegas came in and set multiple varieties of breakfast foods on the table.
Alex and Alan came down shortly after with Shaun and their bags. Alex had Shaun over his shoulder like it was nothing. "So hot." I muttered as he set Shaun down on another couch.
"I bet." Kelly said rolling her eyes. "What he's my mate." I stated. "This is you without your wolf." Kelly muttered. "Doesn't exactly make me blind now does it?" I retorted.
"Just mate already. " she suggested. "What no. I mean...maybe. No, we aren't there yet." I responded. She laughed. "Shut up."i groaned with Alex and Alan walked past us giving us weird looks.
"Who wants a drink?" Calvin asked as Kelly and I took our seats. Debbie grabbed the bottle from him and emptied the content in the sink. She poured him a cup of coffee and set it down next to him.
Breakfast was practically same minus Shaun's comments. Bertha joined us and we ate having conversations among ourselves. After breakfast, three black cars pulled up in the driveway. I just knew Mickey was here as well.
"I'll let them in. "Bertha said getting up. "Send those two to the car." Kelly ordered Alex and Alan pointing at Cole and Shaun in the living room. Alex rolled his eyes obviously not willing to obey the command. "Who do you think you're speaking to?" Alan asked.
Alphas are so full of themselves. "Uncle Max." Kelly said innocently. "Boys be gentlemen." Max commanded. Kelly smirked and I couldn't help but giggle at the annoyed expressions on their faces as they stood up to do what they were told.
I went out to see Mickey and some other serious looking men I know I've seen before. Alex and Alan came out with Shaun and Cole. A man opened the door to one of the cars and the set them in.
Kelly and Alan decided to go together. Well Kelly decided. Alan had to enter the car when his father agreed with Kelly again. A guard and driver got into the other cars and Mickey opened the door to the last car for Alex and I.
We got in and he closed it before getting into the driver's seat. Mickey was grinning from ear to ear as he kept glancing at me through the mirror. "What is it?" I asked knowing he wanted to say something.
"I'm driving the future King to the royal pack."he simply stated. "He told you?"i asked. "He can't wait. " Mickey chuckled. I groaned knowing my dad would just embarrass me.
"Kill me." I muttered. Alex chuckled. "That calms my nerves. " he said. "Trust me, my dad is overjoyed to meet you. If anything I should be worried. "I said.
As we drove through the pack, Alex showed me some places. I couldn't help but notice there was a lot of graffiti on the walls and even some trees. It was colorful and beautiful. All done by the same vandal who vandalized the entrance of the school. ACA.
"This vandal is awesome." I said looking out the window. "Really?" Alex asked. "Yeah, i mean you can certainly see the effort she put into it." I responded. "She?" Alex asked. I nodded. "Why do you think it's a she?" He asked.
"Because girls are more likely to vandalize such beautiful things." I reasoned. "That's factually incorrect."He stated. "Excuse me?" I asked.
He shrugged. "I'm just stating facts." He said. "Inaccurate facts? "I asked. He rolled his eyes. "The vandal is clearly a guy. Maybe multiple guys. "He added. "Why, because girls aren't creative? "I asked.
"Your words not mine."he stated. "Get over yourself. " I retorted. "You started it with your false assumptions."he accused. "How do you know they're false? "I asked.
"You know what, just forget it. It's a boy and a girl. " he compromised.
...
"No. I'm pretty sure it's just a girl. "I stated proudly.
