Chapter 11

Leilani's POV

My phone rang and i looked at the caller ID. Dad. I excused myself and answered. "Lei." A soft voice said. I smiled immediately knowing it was Nevel. I missed him.

"Hey, Nev."i responded, the smile not leaving my face. "You're not in school, are you?"he asked. "No, but shouldn't you be?"i asked. He's been homeschooled his whole life.

"Yeah, umm..."he trailed off in a voice he uses to get out of trouble. He's not in trouble regularly so it's rare.

"Nev."i called. "I just wanted to hear from you."he whined. "I know sweetie but you still need to go. I'll call you after school."i said.

Alex scoffed. I looked at him confused but he just kept his beautiful eyes focused on the road.

"Promise? "Nevel asked hopefully. "Promise. "I said. "Bye Lei, love you. "He said. "Love you more. Click."i said ending the call.

Just then,Alex took a sharp turn and i almost dropped my phone. I glared at him. "What?" He asked not seeming like he cared. "I almost dropped my phone."i complained.

"Almost."he emphasized like i shouldn't have been complaining to begin with.

A bit of a dick move but still cute. "So was that your boyfriend? "He asked. Boyfriend? Oh Nevel. I almost laughed at the thought.

Not of me dating my brother but of me having a boyfriend. Heck I'm hesitant about meeting my mate.

"It's okay if you don't want to answer princess. "He said respectfully but his tone was weird.

"Alex"i started when he pulled up in a crowded parking lot. "Here we are. Cole will take you to the administration office to get settled in but I'm sure we'll see each other around. "He said.

He turned off the engine getting out of the car. I followed confused. He pushed a button and locked the car.

Many teen wolfs were gathered at the entrance. Is it normally like this? They seemed to be huddled around something.

Alex cleared the way for us to get closer. I noticed a couple of girls throwing away their dignity and shamelessly eye raping him.

I finally saw what everyone was looking at.  The entrance had been vandalized and it was beautiful. "ACA?"i asked.

Looking at Alex for an answer. "It's just some vandal that strikes every now and then."he shrugged. "Come on."he said taking my hand and leading me into the school.

I swear I felt electricity go up my arm. He let go as soon as we got past the crowd and i felt disappointed.

Alan, Kelly and Cole were already there. "Get her settled in. I'm late for class. "Alex said as soon as we reached them.

"Class doesn't start for like 30 minutes. "Cole said, but Alex was already walking away. Cole and Alan shared a look and Cole nodded.

Alan immediately started walking in the direction Alex went in. "I'll take her." Kelly spoke up looking at her twin.

Why do i feel like some alien. "Thanks. I'll see you girls later."He said with a cute smile. He quickly followed after his friends and Kelly turned to me with a smile identical to Cole.

"Shall we?"she asked and i nodded. "So Lani, we're friends right? " she asked."Of course. "I responded.

"I'm just making sure you know that if you ever need someone to talk to I'm here to listen. Xander might be my brother but he can be a jerk.

If he did or said anything to upset you,  we can turn around right now and make him apologize."she said cracking her knuckles.

"That won't be necessary. "I chuckled. "I'm not sure Alex and Alan like me very much though. "I said.
