Leilani's POV
The boys insisted that we leave for the day and so we did. We met up with Sophia and she demanded that she be fed before we go shopping.
We got some burgers and filled her in on the Kelly and Shaun mate drama. "Well personally, I think it's cool that childhood friends turn out to be mates.
I mean, you already know everything about each other." Sophia said. "He was a player,Soph. Personally I wouldn't want that piece of information." I said.
"Oh. He didn't seem like one when we met." Sophia muttered. "Well by then he knew Kelly was his mate. He's done with that" I responded. "Who's to say he is? "Kelly asked.
"He wouldn't do that to you." Sophia said. "You knew him for about a day and you already trust him."Kelly responded.
"Girl if I were him I wouldn't betray you. You have future king, junior Maximus and your cute as fuck twin. Unless he has a death wish, he wouldn't." Sophia exclaimed.
Kelly chuckled. "Do you have a thing for my brother?"she asked. "Can you blame me?" Sophia asked. "The boys you're living with are greek gods." She added.
"Told ya." I said in agreement. "I hate to interrupt your conversation but you're at your destination." Mickey said with a smirk making me aware that he heard the entire conversation.
He pushed a button and the door slid open. We stepped out and headed into the mall. "How the hell did you grow up with them without getting a crush on one of them?" Sophia asked.
"I don't really know. They're cute but so irritating sometimes. It just never happened." Kelly said. "You two got to grow up with each other. I grew up with four freaking boys." Kelly exclaimed.
"As someone who reads wattpad, I don't see the problem." I shrugged. Kelly rolled her eyes. "Plus, one of them turned out to be your mate so that's great." Sophia said.
"Besides the rogue king being his dad and all." She quickly added.
"I don't care about that. I grew up with Shaun. The guys can be ruthless at times but he'll never be like his father."Kelly stated.
"Okay so everyone is capable of change. That smile on your face definitely shows that you're interested." Sophia said. "Well he's my friend. "Kelly said.
"You're really still going with that title?" I asked. "Well I can't just change it."Kelly said. "I'm pretty sure Shaun has." I responded. "No he hasn't." Kelly muttered.
"Let's ask him. Where's my phone?" I asked rummaging through my purse. "What? No. You can't ask him that." Kelly said quickly.
I think I left my phone in the car. "Give me yours." I said. "I'm not doing that." Kelly huffed. "Got it." Sophia said waving Kelly's phone. She tossed it to me and I caught it.
"How have you saved his contact?" I asked. "Shaun." She muttered. "Just Shaun?" I asked confused. "That's his name, isn't it?" She asked flipping her hair.
I quickly changed his contact to my rogue before dialing the number. "Hey, Kels. Is something wrong?" He asked worriedly.
"Hi babe." I greeted trying to sound like Kelly. Kelly opened her mouth to say something but Sophia covered it. "Lani?" Shaun asked confused.
Sophia was struggling to hold back her laughter. "What are you girls up to?" He sighed.
"Who is Kelly to you?" I asked getting straight to the point. "My mate...hopefully. Is something going on?"he asked.
"No everything's fine." I responded hanging up. I gave the phone back to her. "There's your answer. "I said. Kelly glared. "Thank the moon goddess that I have you two." She said sarcastically.
