Chapter 16

Alexander's POV

*Flashback*

We were watching descendants in the living room. One might ask, why? Well, it's very hard to say no to a certain 5 year old girl with bright emerald green eyes.

Alan, Shaun, Cole and I being Kelly's closest friends were forced to sit down and watch it. Well Cole didn't have a problem with it and these were the good old days when Shaun hadn't developed his massive ego.

The worst part was when Kelly forced us to sing along to what's my name in descendants 2. She fell asleep at the end of the descendants 2. I have absolutely no shame in saying we watched descendants 3 as well.

It's a great movie and I loved the friendship between the VKs, especially Jay and Carlos. The movie ended and I was pissed. The actor that played Carlos was dead. He is a god,he didn't deserve to die so young. No guys I'm not gay, but i am allowed to admire people okay?

"Guys i have an idea." Cole suddenly said excitedly. He was hanging upside down on the couch throughout the movie but i guess he forgot.  He ended up tumbling down and ending up on the ground.

Shaun just looked at him from his spot on the couch next to Kelly. He was braiding her hair but had stopped upon hearing the thud. Alan smirked from the bean bag he was sat on. I got up and helped Cole up.

"Back to what i was saying. "He said but i was more concerned with the sound his head made with the ground.

"Let's make our own handshake. "He said excitedly. "I'm good. "I said. "I'll pass. "Alan muttered. Shaun continued to braid Kelly's hair silently.

Cole pouted. "Fine." I responded. "Great, since you all agree."Cole said grabbing Shaun's hand and pulling him off the couch. "Hey."Shaun whined. "I'm not interested. "Alan said.

"Well with that attitude, there's no way I'm teaching you the handshake. "Cole said. "Works for me." Alan said leaning back. "Get up." Cole whined when Alan made no attempt to get up. Alan groaned and got up.

Cole did some weird gestures and showed us how the handshake went. He didn't stop till we all got it right.
*end of flashback*

I was in the middle of my game about to win when the TV suddenly went off. What the hell? Alan was standing there with the remote in his hand. "What did you do that for?"i asked.  He shrugged.

"You ditched to play video games?"Alan asked. "You say that like it's a bad thing. " i smirked. "What did you guys get in trouble for this time?"I asked. "Shaun's lie went around,  Kelly got angry,  the princess was a victim and someone had to keep an eye on them."he shrugged.

"Thanks. Where's Shaun?" I asked. "Probably avoiding you."Alan said. "Yeah he's definitely avoiding you."Cole said walking in with Kelly and Lani trailing behind him. "How are you so sure? "I asked.

"He's going in through his window." Kelly said. "I honestly don't have time for this. Bertha said he's grounded anyway. "I said.  "What!"we heard Shaun exclaim, followed by a loud thump outside.

"Well i just need a pic of that. "Kelly said rushing back out with Alan following. "Where's Bertha?" Cole asked. "Kitchen." I responded. "Perfect. Oh Bertha. "Cole sang making his way to the kitchen probably for a snack.

"Sorry about them. I hope detention wasn't that bad. I sent Rafael as soon as Cole texted me."i said bringing my attention to Lani who was staring at my chest.  Oh yeah i was shirtless.

"Umm should i throw on a shirt? "I asked with a smirk. "No. I'm good." She responded sounding like she was in a daze. "Not that i mind but i was kind of asking you something. "I chuckled.
