Alexander's POV

I wasn't able to sleep a wink last night. I don't know what to be more concerned about. The fact that one of my best friend's is in danger or that the warning was sent to my mate.

The kids kept Shaun and I up until they fell asleep. Alan just ignored everything around him and Cole went to bed early.

The kids are getting ready for school right now and I'm in the living room with Cole. I don't know where Alan is. There was a knock at the door.

Cole got up to get it. I didn't know who it could be so early in the morning. I turned around to see Celine. "Alan isn't here." Cole mumbled trying to close the door.

Celine stopped him."I'm not always looking for Alan. This is where i can find the alpha, isn't it?"she asked. "Is something wrong? "Cole asked switching to beta mode.

"No. I just figured since you guys barely come to school anymore I could drop off Ivy and Nevel." Celine said. I raised my eyebrow in surprised.

Cole looked at me and I shrugged. "What do you really want?"Cole asked.

"Your hesitation gives me enough time to see a shirtless Alan coming back from his run." Celine responded with a wide smile.

About 5 seconds later Alan showed up behind Celine with his hair messy and his shirt flung over his shoulder. He ignored Celine drooling over him and walked in.

Cole rolled his eyes. "They're getting ready. You can come wait in here if you want?" Cole offered shocking both Alan and I. Cole is friendly and i love him but what the fuck is he thinking.

Celine nodded and walked in. She sat close to Alan and smiled. Alan rolled his eyes but ignored her. "I'll check up on them." Cole muttered getting up and heading upstairs.

'You invite her in and leave?' I growled through the mindlink. 'Good luck.'he chuckled. 'Goodluck to Al. I'm leaving. 'I said getting up. "Xander." Alan warned. I smirked and headed up as well.

Cole must have gone to his room because he wasn't with Nevel and Ivy. Fucking bastard ditched us. "Are you two ready?" I asked walking into Nevel's room.

"We talked and we're not going today." Ivy stated. "Excuse me?" I asked confused."We just don't feel like it today." Nevel added.

"You don't get to make that decision." I said crossing my arms. "You guys don't go to school." Ivy said crossing her arms  as well. "Maybe because we're adults." I responded.

"No fair." She whined. "You can decide in a couple of years but until you're 18. Let's go." I said opening the door. "Celine will be taking you to school today." I said.

"Cece." Ivy squealed running out. Is this girl bipolar or something? Nevel shook his head and followed. Taking Ivy's bag that she had forgotten.

They remind me of Kelly and myself when we were younger. Speaking of, I wonder when the girls will be back. I headed to Cole's room but it was locked.

Since when did this boy know about privacy. I knocked. "What is it?" He asked. "Since when did you lock your door?" I asked.

There was some shuffling before the lock clicked. "Since when did you lock your door?" I asked him walking in.

"I was about to take a shower."he muttered shutting the door behind me. "Whatever. Have you heard from the girls?" I asked.

"I don't even know where my phone is." Cole muttered looking around. "You don't remember leaving it with me after planning a date?" Alan asked walking in and throwing the phone on the bed.
