Chapter 84

Alexander's POV

I followed Alan up to his room. "Are you going to say something or are you just following me around?" He asked.

"Depends. Do you want me to say something?" I responded. "I know you want to say something. Just say it." He stated.

"Fine, one second you kiss Sophia and the next you snap at her. What's up?" I asked. "I don't know."he shrugged.

"She's your mate." I stated. "Don't you think I realize that. Xander it's killing me."he growled.

"So stop pushing her away. You know you want to be with her. You know you want to mark her." I said.

"No I don't." He responded shaking his head.

"Denial much?" Shaun asked walking in.

"Knock much?"Alan retorted.

"Al, don't push her away. You try with us but you know we're not leaving you." Shaun stated.

"Unfortunately." Alan murmured.

"I'm being serious dude." I said. "What do you want from me?"he sighed. "I don't know dude. Just don't hurt her."I sighed.

He didn't respond.

Cole walked in with a grin. "Someone got some action." Shaun smirked. "Shut up. We're taking things slow." Cole murmured.

Cole wrapped Alan in a hug. "This is why you have a mate Cole." Alan groaned.

"No one can replace you guys."he responded hugging him tightly. "Thank you."he murmured.

"It's not like I enjoyed being stalked but you're welcome." Alan said prying Cole off him.

"Where are the girls?"Cole asked. "Hospital. We're trying to knock some sense into Alan about how he's handling this mate thing." Shaun answered.

"If you're just going to lecture me too then you can all leave." Alan grumbled. "I thought he was handling this nicely. He didn't reject her." Cole stated.

"She's worried about the way he kills." I said. "That's how he always does it. Sophia will get use to it." Cole responded.

"Thank you." Alan exclaimed. "Sorry guys but I'm with Alan on this one." Cole shrugged.

"Great. Now all of you. Out. I need to shower."Alan said. "By all of you, I mean the only other people in here."he added when we made no attempt to move.

"Fine."we muttered walking out. "I'm gonna take a shower too." Shaun stated. "Soo...anything happen with Celine?" I asked Cole when we were alone.

"What part of slow don't you guys get. Wash up and meet me downstairs." He said shoving me into my room.

I rolled my eyes before doing as he said. It hurt a bit because my wounds weren't healed yet.

If anything, I was hurt more than I thought. At least the pack is safe.

I bandaged myself up the best i could before heading downstairs with Alan and Shaun. The others were already there.

"Why does this seem like a family intervention?" Shaun murmured. " I'm uncomfortable." Alan mumbled.

"Just be glad our parents aren't here. You are going to have to tell them all about Sophia." I responded before we joined the others.

"I'm glad you joined us. Take a seat please." Cole said. "I wasn't planning on standing." Alan responded giving Cole a weird look.

"Nope. You're not sitting together."he said when we went to take our seats.

"Dude. We just came back from a literal war. What are you up to?" Shaun asked."Just sit next to your mates."he responded.
