Chapter 28

Alexander's POV

After we told Kelly what Shaun showed us she went to her room and Lani went to check up on her. "You think we should have showed her the video?" Alan asked.

I shot him a glare and he raised his hands in defense. "I don't like your mate." He suddenly said as we sat down. "Why, because she no longer shrinks when you talk?" I asked sarcastically.

"Yeah, i knew you'd understand. "He said. "Dude not everyone is going to be terrified of you. Especially when they get to know you." I said.

"She doesn't know me."he muttered. "She knows you won't hurt her because of me." I said with a smirk. "Get over yourself. "He said nudging me.

"You love me and you know it." I smirked. He scoffed. "Come on, give me a hug. " i said stretching my arms. "Dude i will knock you out if you touch me." He warned.

Someone hugged him from behind, it was Kelly. "Oh so she gets to hug you but I don't? " I asked with a pout. "Thank you. " Kelly whispered.

"If this is for beating up William then you're welcome. " he said nonchalantly patting her arm. Everyone knows Alan doesn't do feelings.

Kelly left Alan's side and sat beside me. "You don't have to thank me, Kelly. You're my little sister and I'd do it again." I said as she rested her head on my shoulder.

"I know, but still thanks. " she said. "I'm starving. Is Cole in the kitchen?" Shaun asked walking over to the kitchen.

"About that...Cole and i kinda heard the whole conversation. " Lani spoke up. "And?" Shaun asked. "I don't know he just disappeared. Lani said.

"Well, Timothy's dead." Alan said with a smirk. "Come on, even the first letter is wrong this time. " I said. "Do you really think Cole would leave the house to just go beat up Wyatt? "Lani asked.

"No." I responded. "He's going for the kill."Shaun shrugged. "Fact." Alan stated. "Anyway,  breakfast? "Shaun asked. "We've already eaten." I responded.

"Cool." Shaun said turning to walk into the kitchen. "You guys, we have to stop him." Kelly said. Shaun came back in and sighed.

"I kinda feel bad for the guy. It's wrong to just leave him like that." Alan said.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll go downstairs and give Celine five minutes to find him before i hunt him down and snap his neck."i stated.

"Come on guys be serious...Celine won't give a fuck unless it's Ally." Shaun mimicked. I chuckled. "Enough! Find Cole before he kills that bastard." Lani commanded. Hot.

I smirked. "The queen has spoken. " Shaun said with a playful bow. "Maybe your queen. " Alan muttered. There was a knock on the living room door.

It might be a pack member looking for my dad. "I'll get it." Lani said since she was standing. She went to open the door and growled.

Of course it caught my attention. I turned around to see Lani trying to shut the door on none other than Celine. "What do you want?" Lani asked.

"Get out of my way bitch. I'm looking for Alan." Celine said trying to push past Lani. "Biologically i am a bitch but the next time you hurt my friend, I'll show you what a bitch I can be when I'm angry. " Lani said shocking me.

This is the first time she's spoken back to Celine. Alan got up and walked to the door. "What?" Alan growled. "Ally, i know what it seemed like last night but you're the only one i care about." Celine said.

"Well that's unfortunate for Wyatt."Shaun chuckled. "He was just a harmless fling." Celine said. "Celine get the fuck off our floor." I said when i noticed Kelly hadn't even turned to look at her.

"Oh no, let her stay and explain to me why she thought she could make a fool out of my sister. "Cole growled. Shaun chuckled. "This should be fun." I muttered when I saw Cole holding a severely beaten up  Wyatt.

"Cole-" Celine started. "This idiot said that this was your idea so start explaining before i lose my patience. " Cole said throwing Wyatt on the ground like he was useless. I winced.

"Cole that's enough. "Kelly said when she heard Cole's voice. We got up and walked over to the door. "No, not enough. Cole direct that anger to the witch." Lani said.

"Lani." I warned. She rolled her eyes raising her hands in defense. "Cole please stop you've done enough...please. "Kelly pleaded.

"Leave before i change my mind." Cole ordered. "Yes beta." Celine said obviously seeing Cole was in no mood to be reasonable. She left the basket of cupcakes she no doubt brought for Alan  at the entrance.

She turned around quickly about to run down the stairs. "Take that boy back home or wherever. I want him out of my sight." Cole ordered. She bowed her head respectfully and tried helping a half conscious Wyatt up.

He picked the wrong girl to play with. "I'll take that." Shaun said with a smirk as he took the gift basket.

"You're a hypocrite, rogue." Celine spat at Shaun when Cole left. I was about to  say something but Shaun spoke up for himself.

"Exactly how am i a hypocrite? " Shaun asked with a sarcastic voice. "You use girls as much as i used him. So you're not exactly a saint." Celine responded.

"First of all, those girls know what they're getting into. I don't do relationships and they know it. Secondly,  you're right I'm far from a saint."Shaun said before leaning down to Celine's level.

"I'm a devil who won't hesitate to kill you if you ever hurt Kelly again."he whispered. He smirked when he saw  the colour drain from her face.

He walked inside and Lani gladly shut the door. I can't blame her, the guys told me Celine has been nothing but a problem to her.

"Ignore her." I said placing my hand on Shaun's shoulder. "Way ahead of you."he said taking a bite out of one cupcake. "Want one?" He asked. I shook my head.

"Lani?" He asked. "Hand me a chocolate one." She said. "You two are enjoying this way too much." I muttered sitting next to Cole. "You okay? "He asked Kelly who had her head on his shoulder.

"I'm more worried about your fists. Cole, what are we going to tell mum?" Kelly asked. "Relax I'm fine, the wimp couldn't even land a punch." Cole scoffed.

"Plus mum's gonna find out anyway." Cole stated. "We won't tell." I said. "Well you do seem to like keeping things a secret these days. " Cole muttered rolling his eyes.

"Dude, i didn't tell you because you do stuff like this." I said sighing. "Oh and you didn't do same? " he asked. "Fine I'm sorry for keeping it from you." I apologized.

"We good?" I asked. Kelly nudged him and he nodded with a sigh. "You know you can tell me about these things, right?" Cole muttered stroking her hair.

She nodded. "One more thing, no dating until you meet your mate and even then, I'll have to meet him." Cole said leaving no room for argument.

"Mum just texted me. Apparently we're all grounded and will be having a talk when they get back. " Shaun said looking at his phone. "Even me?" Lani asked with chocolate on her lips.

"She's so mad i can feel her glare through the phone. I'm guessing we all are." Shaun said turning off his phone. "How do they even know?" Alan asked.

"Wyatt's parents must have reported. Man they were petrified when i barged in and dragged him out." Cole chuckled. "Nice." Shaun said as he and Cole did the handshake.

Well, we're dead." I muttered. "I'm double grounded." Shaun murmured. "Well if we're all grounded we can make the most of it. It's just like hanging out, except we can't leave. "Lani said.

"Are you always this positive?" Kelly asked sitting up. Lani shrugged trying to lick some of the chocolate off her lips.

"For a princess, you're really not...princess-y" Alan said looking at her. She glared at him and i chuckled.
