Chapter 83

Leilani's POV

"Dad no." Alex murmured dashing off to Calvin's side. He knelt down next to him and carefully lifted his head onto his lap.

The boys gathered around him. "Cole, you're lucky I'm weak right now or I'll kill you. How are you feeling bud?" Calvin asked quietly.

"P-please don't talk right now uncle. "Cole stuttered wiping his eyes. "Hey, this rogue king thing is over. I don't want you crying over me you should be celebrating." Calvin stated.

"If anything is going to kill you it would be alcohol. Come on Cal, keep your eyes open." Debbie said softly.

"I can't fight it, Debbie. Take care of my kids for me."he sighed. "Dad, please keep your eyes open. We're getting help."Alex cried.

It broke my heart to see him cry.

Nevel and Ivy ran over in their wolf forms before shifting back. Ivy closed her eyes and placed one hand on Calvin's chest.

Her hand started glowing as Calvin's body became translucent. "Umm Ivy?" Nevel called looking confused.

Calvin gasped for air quickly sitting up. Ivy stumbled back into Nevel's arms. "Are you okay?" He asked. She nodded.

"How did you do that?" Calvin asked. "I don't know." Ivy murmured. Pack members howled with joy at the sight of their alpha.

"You're okay." Alex sighed with relief as he hugged his father. "I thought you were dead. "Kelly cried hugging him.

"Well I'm alive. Come on you two stop crying. I'm fine." He said rubbing Kelly's  back. Alex sniffed and pulled away.

I hugged him from behind. "He's fine. Everything is fine." I soothed. "It's over." Cole stated. People were helping the severely injured members to the pack hospital.

"Abby you think you can help out?" Alex asked. "Yeah..."she trailed off. "What's wrong?" River asked. "Nothing...it's just. We lost some of our members." Abby cried.

River pulled her into his arms. "Hey, everything's fine. Stop crying." He soothed leading her away.

Celine walked over. "I don't think they should be out here right now." She said as she hugged Ivy.

"I'm so glad you're okay. Your mum's gonna have a heart attack when she finds out you can shift. And heal?" Celine said sounding confused.

"What am I even gonna tell dad. You were on the battlefield and then you shift? I'm so dead." I muttered.

"He's your brother." Celine stated. I nodded. "Nevel, how do I do the whole freedom thing?" Alan asked.

"I, Alan, alpha of Dark fangs pack free Celine of the Blood Howlers pack to be her own person. I give up authority as her king." Nevel said.

"Really? I gotta say all that?" Alan muttered. "What?" Celine asked looking lost. "For Cole." Nevel shrugged.

Alan looked over at Cole who averted his gaze to the ground.

"I, Alan, alpha of Dark fangs pack free Celine of the Blood Howlers pack to be her own person. I give up authority as her king." Alan stated.

"What was that?" Celine asked. Alan grabbed Sophia and smashed his lips onto hers. Sophia immediately wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back.

Nevel's jaw dropped and Ivy covered his eyes as he covered hers .

"How do you feel? "Cole asked Celine. "Fine I guess. If this is supposed to make me jealous or something it's not working. I'm over it." Celine shrugged.
