"i'm taking this request." i glanced up, realising it was mirajane who had made the announcement as she held up a request flyer she had taken from upstairs. i immediately noticed the s-class mission in her hand, there was a scarce amount of flyers up there so it was easy to recognise them all. 

"sure, let me just write it off." i smiled, grabbing the request book from under the bar. most of my day was usually spent writing off requests since most members would be raring to leave as soon as possible, there would be others who would spend half the day trying to make a decision, and some who would give up trying to pick altogether. "will it just be you?" 

"me, lisanna and elfman." my eyes widened in surprise, glancing over at mirajane. they always went on missions together, and had even just returned from one so it didn't come as a surprise but i didn't think she'd take them on one so soon. i knew that mirajane was strong and could definitely take care of the others, but lisanna going too? i glanced down at the job request, seeing that it was asking for someone to take down the beast, a monster that had been showing up and terrorising local villages just in the outskirts of magnolia. "come on, we don't got all day!" mirajane scolded as i snapped out of my thoughts. 

i nodded my head, handing back the flyer as i approved the three of them for the request. the mission itself was perfect for the strauss siblings, as i was aware of their take-over magic. however, there was a funny feeling in my stomach that i couldn't ignore. 

"wait," i called out, walking out of the bar and over to mirajane before she left the guild to round up the others. "this is lisanna's first s-class mission, i want to wish her luck." i smiled, following the girl out of the building. we grabbed elfman first before heading off to find lisanna.

luckily we didn't have to search far as we found lisanna, happy and natsu in the park, lisanna clearly scolding natsu for something but we were too far to hear what they were saying.

"hey, lisanna!" elfman called out, catching their attention. "we've got work to do." 

"huh? but we just got back?" lisanna pointed out as she turned to face the three of them. 

"it's an s-class one!" elfman excitedly added, unable to hide his smug smile. "nee-chan took the job, and we're gonna lend support." 

"hold on, that's not fair!" natsu cut into the conversation before lisanna could answer the two. 

"what kind of job is it?" happy asked, curiosity getting the better of him.
