"ah, this is exactly what i needed." lisanna sighed, leaning her head back as her body relaxed under the hot water. maya sighed too, but her's seemed heavier as she stared at her reflection in the water, her shoulders tense as she seemed deep in thought. the white haired mage seemed to notice the silence as she peered over at her best friend, wondering what was on her mind. "maya?" the said girl jumped at the hand placed on her shoulder, whipping her head around to face lisanna.

"huh? sorry," she quickly apologised, realising she hadn't heard a word. "sorry, i just had a lot on my mind." she admitted, dropping her gaze back down to the water as she turned her head back around. 

"is it natsu?" she suddenly asked, catching maya's attention once more. "i swear if he did anything to you then i'll―" there was a fire in her eyes as she raised her fist in the air, but when maya shook her head, she calmed down. 

"it's not him," she assured. "do you ever get a strange feeling that something is going to go wrong?" she suddenly asked. her question seemed to only confuse lisanna as she tilted her head.

"strange feeling? how does it feel?" 

"i don't know," maya admitted. "but it just feels like whenever something's going right for me, the wrong ends up even worse." lisanna seemed deep in thought, absorbing her words. a silence blanketed the two, as even the take over mage was struggling to find a response to give the girl as reassurance. 

"then let it go wrong." she finally concluded, taking maya by surprise. "i mean, it's not like everything can always go right, so instead of fearing for something possibly going wrong, just take it head on." maya blinked, processing her words as she was faced with a solution that was a lot easier than expected.

"huh? maya, lisanna!" the two's conversation was cut short as they turned to the source of voice, finding the other fairy tail girls walking towards them. 

"lucy." the two waved, lucy, cana, levy and mirajane joining them in the hotsprings. "didn't you have a job request today too?" maya questioned as lucy was by her side.

"not today, erza and wendy were requested on a job together so i'm by myself today." she answered, seeming down by the fact that she was left out. "what about natsu?" she asked.

"he's out on a job with gray."

"eh!? natsu and gray!?" cana cut in, her tone filled with disbelief.
