"grand magic games?"
"ah, is it already that time of the year?" she glanced over, curiously watching her guildmates discuss the upcoming event that had the whole kingdom of fiore excited. a bored sigh escaped her lips as she held her head in her hand, the other one moving a chess piece along as her opponent flinched, realising she had checkmate.
"then the lineup will be sting, rogue, rufus," master jiemma began, seeming deep in thought as he considered the last two places. "minerva and," she knocked the king out of his place, a smirk on her lips as she glanced over at her defeated adversary. "amaya."
they all peered over at the innocent green haired mage who showed no interest in the conversation at all. she sat in a black turtleneck top layered with a cropped pink blazer, her gold necklace that she always had on lay flat against her collarbone as the green gemstone shone against the light. her long legs were on show with her pink, pleated skirt riding up a little, the yellow sabertooth guildmark smooth against the skin of her thigh. a matching pink bow tied her hair neatly atop her head, as a black ribbon was tied tightly around her neck.
she adorned a friendly smile as she held out her hand, waiting for the other to shake it. however, he slapped it away in arrogance, annoyed that he had lost as he grumbled a string of curse words under his breath, walking away from the game that he expected to win. the smile dropped from her face as she pouted her lips, staring at her hand.
sting panicked, rushing to her side as he placed both hands on her shoulders. "g-good game, amaya! you did well." he smiled, the girl lifting her head to meet his gaze. she sighed, pushing his hands off and standing from her seat, walking over to where the master sat. "you'll join us, right?" sting joined her side, forcing a smile as he stared at the girl expectantly.
amaya hummed, nodding her head as she looked around. "but, minerva is out on a mission." she pointed out, the others finally noticing the absence of the master's daughter.
"yukino," master jiemma called out, causing the celestial mage to flinch as she stepped up. "you will take her place until she returns."
