"what's taking her so long?" gray complained, team natsu stood by the front of the guild as they patiently waited for maya to join them. after her run in with guren last night, the man did as she requested and had put in a job request early the next morning, specifically asking for maya and anyone she wished to bring. master had informed the girl upon her arrival, and she had been talking with him since whilst the others prepared to leave.
"i wonder what they're talking about." lucy hummed, staring over at the bar as the two aforementioned were in what looked like an intense conversation.
"she's returning to her home land after so long, i'm sure she has a lot of worries." erza pointed out.
"what's there to worry about when i'm there?" natsu obliviously questioned, simplifying the situation to something less than it was.
"somehow, i feel like that would actually calm maya down." lucy sweatdropped as the others nodded in agreement.
"i hope she'll be okay." happy mumbled, a hint of worry in his tone as he stared at the green haired mage. she finally turned to face them, a smile replacing her serious look as she joined the others by the door.
"sorry i took so long, let's go." she grinned, changing the mood immediately as soon as she appeared. the others smiled, nodding their head as they picked up their bags and walked out of the guild. they were taking erza's magic mobile to hargeon, where they would be meeting with guren who had prepared a ship for them to sail off on to the island of ceran.
everything was going according to plan.
"ugh..."
"stop it natsu! you're getting drool all over me!" lucy screamed, pushing away the pinkette as he lifelessly hung his head, unable to fight back due to his motion sickness.
