at the mccall's house, the next morning, a black leather bag that belonged to aviva mccall was seen lying on the white tiled kitchen counter, a hand that belonged to aviva was seen holding onto it, her then slipping it on her back, her then taking up something to eat on her way to school, her then walking out of the kitchen.

"will i be hearing good things at school today?"

aviva's eyes look at her father in surprise, her having something in her mouth, making a confused sound, her then chewing the reminds, then looking at her father.

"you're going to be there?" aviva confusingly asks.

"yes-." raphael was saying.

melissa was seen walking out of a room, staring at her husband in disbelief, scoffing out sarcastically. "that's a first."

raphael sighs out, him then looking over at his daughter. "yes, i'll be there..." his fingers was hooked on a key, dangling it in front of her face. "this is for you."

aviva scoffs in disbelief. "you're going to throw out your fifteen year old daughter on her birthday?" aviva sarcastically comments. "well, isn't this just perfect?"

"no." raphael groans, scoffing at her, clearly amused. "i want you to be at school as well as your new car."

melissa's eyes widened, staring at her husband in disbelief.

aviva's eyes lit up, grabbing the keys from his hands, smiling at him. "thank you!"

aviva then turns away, her then smiling at her mother, who seemed happy for her, the teenager then walking out of the house.

melissa looks over at her husband, raphael sighing out, rolling his eyes. "don't start, melissa."

"she isn't even sixteen, you can't give a car to a fifteen year old!" melissa hissed.

"earlier the better, isn't it?" raphael shrugs carelessly.

"but, you didn't say the same thing when our previous fourteen year old daughter was hanging out with a seventeen year old." raphael snapped.

"and, if you don't like it, why didn't you say anything?" raphael raised a brow at her.

melissa faked a smile. "because–––raphael, you mean too much to our little girl, and i won't let her be sad because of you, you let her down once and when she seemed so happy today...i didn't want her to feel sad on her birthday." melissa angrily glares at him, whilst walking away. "i'll see you at conference."

raphael frowns at his wife, her walking as he looked at her.

henrik argent was seen standing in the school halls, him staring at someone in front of him, but the person didn't notice.

"how did i not know that it was your birthday?"

aviva mccall, whom was reading a postcard from paige krasikeva, heard the familiar voice, her then shutting the card, turning to look at henrik with a smile. "yeah, it is."

"and, you probably didn't know since i didn't tell you or anyone, well....besides paige, but, that's it." aviva smiles.

henrik's eyes then saw something by aviva's feet, him then going towards her, picking up a bracket that was covered with little emerald stones, him then seeing a tag on the bracelet that had derek's name on it, the blue eyed hunter scoffing lightly. "and derek apparently..."
