aviva mccall was sitting in her english class, her listening to the teacher as she twirled her pen around, aviva then felt like someone was staring at her, her eyes slowly glancing on her right, noticing henrik's eyes, her then smiling at him, letting out a nervous sigh, as she quickly turned back around.

"hey, um-." henrik was saying in a whisper.

"mr. argent and ms. mccall, anything you want to share?" mrs. davis sternly asks.

"uh..." henrik trails off.

aviva scoffs, pulling back, gaping at her, knowing she didn't say anything, quick to defend herself. "i didn't say anything."

"i'm sure you didn't." mrs. davis sarcastically says.

"but, i didn't!" aviva says in a high voice.

mrs davis raised a brow at her. "would you like to debate your argument in detention, ms. mccall?"

"absolutely, but, not in detention, problem in a debate team, but, you know, i'm not really well with those things either, i'll shut up! continue." aviva rambles, giving her a smile.

"are you high, ms. mccall?" mrs. davis cautiously asks.

"absolutely not!" aviva scoffs, leaning back.

"actually, aviva didn't say anything, it was me-." henrik defends.

"well, the two of you can enjoy detention together, then." mrs. davis smiles.

"what?! no, i-i can't do detention, i-." aviva quickly argues.

"of course, you can, if you can fight then you can spend a couple hours after school." mrs. davis smugly says.

mrs. davis turns around, aviva scowling at her.

"i'm so sorry, it's my fault." henrik apologized.

"it's okay." aviva shrugs with a smile.

"you know, if you want, can i make it up to you?" henrik empathetically asks.

aviva smiles, humming at him. "sure, get me out of detention."

aviva then looks away from him, writing in her book, a shadowed figure was seen passing through the halls, trying to get somewhere.

"aviva?"

"aviva!" a person whisper shouts, trying to get her attention.

aviva, thinking it was henrik, smiles. "it's okay, henrik."

derek, who was outside, mouthed to his self. "henrik?" derek then scoffs offensively. "do i look like henrik to you?"

aviva swiftly turned around, seeing derek out in window, her eyes widening at him, her almost falling out of her chair.

"ms. mccall? is there something wrong?" mrs. davis seemed like she was becoming frustrated with the girl.

aviva awkwardly laughs, scoffing, fixing herself on the chair. "no, i'm fine."

mrs. davis gave her a look as if she didn't believe her, then turned back around, henrik looking over at her, the girl silently responding as if saying 'it's nothing'.

derek smugly smirks, walking down the halls. "i see you fell, kind of embarrassing, don't you think?"

aviva swiftly turns around, giving derek a seething glare. "what the hell do you want? stop following me!"

"look..." derek sighs out apologetically. "i'm sorry."
