Ayansh's POV

( trigger warning – graphic description of violence. )

Few months ago

I entered by cabin and sat on the couch with a frustrated sigh. We lost another deal. The normal workload was stress enough , now thit is another add on to it. Ever since I've taken control of things my father, my grandfather and my entire family has been so happy with the development. So proud. Taking up this responsibility was a big thing and a drastic change in my life. It took me time to settle in completely but once I did business has been good. It has been more than good.

I have seen my father and my grandfather talk in Dadu's room discussing the future of the company. They hid it quite neatly. The stress. But I could see it. I could see it in the late nights, the skipped meals, the exhaustion and the hopelessness. I could see it all in my father. Seeing him worry like that, struggle like that made my mother's heart break. And mine too. But it also made me more determined. Determined to take over. Determined to do better. Determined to reduce his burden. Determined to give them a happy life, even if its at the cost of mine.

Which is why its very difficult to inform them about the situation. Losing deals left and right. I had decided to not let them know about this but I know that they could sense the stress in me as I did in them. But they never asked. They have trusted me. They have faith in me and that is what is making me go on.

I lean my head back on the couch when the cabin's door opens and Laksh comes in. " What is going on bhai? How the hell is this happening?" he says while taking a seat beside me. Well there was only one answer to that. " We have a mole" I replied " I have already asked Kaushik to look into it". "We need a plan bhai-"

"Don't worry I have one", I replied.

And so that's what we did. We followed our plan. We spread the news of us striking a deal with the Singhanias. They have been our ally for long. We met with the Singhanias and struck a deal. All the while we kept a close eye on all the people associated with the deal. What the betrayer didn't know that there were two different contracts. The one that he got a hold of was a fake one. And when that contract was brought to me for signing, well my team followed the lead and we found him. The mole in our company.

Nirmay Srivastav. He worked under Laksh's department, who was very disheartened at the revelation. The question is - Why did Srivastav do this?

My thoughts came to a halt and so did the car. We got out and soon were greeted by our men. Kaushik met us at the entrance.

"So you finally found him" I say authoratevily. " Yes sir we did" he said while we were walking to the cell. " He was trying to run away from the city. He saw us following and tried to kill himself by throwing himself under the train but we caught him. Took us a lot of efforts-"

" You wouldn't have had to take such efforts if you wouldn't have let him run away in the first place" I say glancing at him while he gulps " and while we are at it, fire all the guards who were working that day I don't want such useless and senseless pricks." I grit out and he nods.

We enter the chamber and there he was tied to a chair all bruised and bloodied. The smell of blood has uplifted my mood and a sinister smile touched my lips.

His head bends down as he is unsonscious due to pain. I grab a pitcher of water from the table behind me and throw the water on his face. He jolts awake with a gasp.
