Ayansh's POV

I sighed as I saw the condition of my cabin. Chairs overturned , papers and files on the floor. And, oh yeah, a broken cup.

The door opened as my brother entered the cabin and took in the scene in front of him.

Laksh looked at me , his eyebrows raised with a questioning look on his eyes. "You seem in a pretty bad mood"

"The worst" I reply and sit in my chair. Laksh came towards the desk and picked up a discarded chair and took a seat.

Laksh is my younger brother. I love him a lot. Avyaan too. They are my heart beats. My life line.

Laksh works with me at Ranawat group of industries. Our grandfather founded this company. My father succeeded him as the CEO and now it's me and Laksh who look over the work. He is the CTO while I am CEO. He is smart as hell and handles all the tech. I feel proud to have a brother like him.

He looks at me and says "Well your mood is about to get even worse because Maa called and has asked us to come home immediately". I tense up hearing this. Because Maa knows how important work is for me so she never calls unless it's urgent. Papa might've succeeded dadu but I increased the turnover of the company in a span of few years. I have given my blood ,sweat and tears to this job and I sure as hell don't compromise it.

"Is everything alright? Did something happen?" I ask already getting up from the chair and moving towards the door. Laksh follows me.

"No she didn't say anything just that we need to come home as soon as possible" he says with a tensed voice. The stress clearly evident.

We get in our car and ask the driver to drive home as fast as possible. I hope everything is alright. What must've happened? These thoughts run through my mind and suddenly I hear my driver say "What the hell is she doing!!"

I look up to see that we were nearing a signal that had green light. I turned to the left and saw a woman looking at our car coming in great speed and trying to come in front of it. My driver slams the breaks and we jerk forward due to the motion. Tha woman dramatically falls down and starts crying loudly. On seeing this people start gathering.

"Wow. Could this day get any better!!" Laksh groans.

We step out of the car. All the people are watching the drama unfold. I sense a gaze on me but ignore it and focus on the matter at hand. This woman is clearly a gold digger. Our car didn't even touch her.

"Arey kaise log hain ye . Baap ka rasta hain kya. Itne jor se kaun chalata hain gaadi. Mujhe thok di inhone" she cried fake tears. Gods her voice is so irritating. She is still sitting on the ground. What an act. She turns to her friend who is trying to console her. "Tune dekha na . Dekha na tune isne kaise gaadi chadhayi mujhpe" her friend seems quite embarrassed about the whole ordeal. She tries to get her up but this woman is so stubborn. People are whispering around us but I just stare at her without a care.

( translation - what kind of people are you? does this road belong to you? who drives so fast. they hit me. )

( translation - you saw right? you saw right how they hit me ? )

"I can't even stand. Oh my god he has hit me so hard!!" she screeches making a big show of it.

My driver becomes anxious and apologizes to her. Laksh tells him not to apologize it's not his fault.

"Sorry nahi bolega? Are kyu nahi bolega? First you hit me and now you refuse to take responsibility for your act" this woman is getting on my nerves now. I am getting angrier by the second. I turn around , my back to her and move my hand through my hair. I still feel that gaze on me but I ignore it again. Laksh takes charge of the situation.
