Author's POV

"So this is final right?" Laksh asks and Yuvika and Avyaan nod. "I will call bhabhi" Yuvika says and opens her phone "and you convince bhai" she says to Laksh. "What? Why me?!!" he whines. "I am not going to talk to him about this. He will scold me" he says. Laksh and Avyaan share a look and they both turn to Yuvika. Her eyes widen.

"No. Nope. Definitely not" she shakes her head and laughs "Oh I am not talking to Ayansh bhai" she says. "He won't listen to us but he will listen to you" Avyaan says. Yuvika groans as she too knows that what Avyaan said is true. "Stop whining" Avyaan scolds her. "Kuch toh kaam kar. Plan bhi hum banaye aur convince bhi hum hi kare?" he clicks his tongue. "Go and convince bhai now" he shoos her off.

Yuvika climbs the stairs to her eldest brother's room. She stands in front of the locked door on the empty floor that belongs to her brother. She raises her hand to knock but hesitates.

Hey devi maa , bacha lena aaj please 

She brings her hand to the door to knock and at the very same moment the door opens and Ayansh steps out. Yuvika stumbles back in shock and Ayansh looks at her confused.

"What are you doing here? College nahi jana aaj?" he says as he checks the time. "Woh bhai" she pauses as he looks at her with a quirked bro. She gulps. She takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, "All of us are going out today and we want you to join us" she says in one breath. 

Silence follows and she cracks one eye open to see her brother looking at her with a line cross his forehead. He sighs. "Before you say no" Yuvika speaks up, sensing that he is about to reject "There are no important lectures today so me and Avyaan bhai aren't missing anything. Also it's been so long since we went out. Pleasee bhai naa matt kehena pleasee" she says in a sweet voice and puppy eyes.

Ayansh chuckles and shakes his head at his sister's antiques. "Dramebaaz" he says as he ruffles her hair and goes down. "Is that a yes? Did you agree?" she says as she races down after him. "I have work , Yuvika" Ayansh says as he enters the living room. "I can't miss work Yuvi-"

"Haa bhabhi, bhai bhi aa rahe hain" Avyaan says on his phone. Ayansh freezes at those words and turns to Yuvika. "Haa oh bhabhi bhi aa rahi hain" Yuvika says slowly, hoping that Ayansh would agree.
