Y/N's POV
A coke float had never tasted as sweet as the one Yoongi prepared for you.
He had been reluctant to try it at first, saying it was a weird concept and that it just sounded nasty. He even made weird faces when the liquid foamed up when he poured the soda over the ice cream.
After much convincing and promising him at least twenty random kisses and that one of them had to be in front of Jungkook and Jimin, he finally relented and tried it…He ended up drinking two of them.
After cleaning up you went to bed. You laid your head on Yoongi's chest and he ran his fingers through your hair, occasionally pecking your head, you were not speaking, just basking in each other.
“It's good to be home.” You whispered.
“It's good to have you home. It's really good to hear you call this place your home. I never want you to leave.” He held you close.
“Home is wherever you are, Yoongi. I never want to leave either, but you and I both know I can't stay here forever.”
“Why not? Once we go public the whole world will know and they can't say shit about it.”
“Oh they can and they will. An older, foreign woman, living with her A-List Korean boyfriend without being married. They will scrutinize my every move and they will dig into my past…that part scares the shit out of me…” you actually shivered, “but I will take it all in stride if it means being with you.”
Yoongi sighed, “I know…and I wish I could protect you from that, but giving up privacy comes with the career. You shouldn't have to deal with that. Maybe we'll find a way. Let's not talk about that right now. It's been an eventful night and I want to soak up every bit of it.”
“You're right… I can't believe I'm going to attend a party with celebrities in it. I had never met any famous person before you. And you know how well I reacted to that.”
He chuckled, “You acted like I had the plague with the way you ran into your office before I could properly say goodbye. You'll be sitting with Huang-ssi, some other Hybe executives and the ones from Hybe America and maybe Youngbae and his wife. She doesn't really like mingling with the other artists, but she's the sweetest person alive.”
You nodded, “Will I meet Bang Si-Hyuk then?” The prospect of meeting him scared you almost as much as meeting Yoongi's parents did.
“That, I don't know. He said he wanted to meet you the day I told him about us, but if we're busy, he's ten times busier. I would love for you to meet before then, but I don't think it will be possible. Other than him coming to the meeting between you and the Americans, I don't see it happening.”
“And I don't see him coming to that meeting either. It was moved again, did you know?” he shook his head and you nodded, “the contract came signed and with a note, asking to reschedule for this upcoming Friday. They're really wanting to make things go smoothly.”
“Next Friday?” Yoongi was shocked, he wasn't expecting for this to impact you, but it made sense in the long run. “So I won't see you as much next week?” He held you tighter, unconsciously.
“Well, with what you told me…I don't think we'd have time anyway. You're learning a new choreo and shooting a music video. We'll be lucky if we can spend next weekend together. It sucks, but it is what it is. We need to start getting used to the madness.” You sounded more sure than you were, but you didn't want to add more stress to Yoongi.
“We'll make some time for each other. No coffee breaks for me though…Hoba would murder me if I skip practice for coffee.” He chuckled. “Though if he knew it was to see you, he might be more amiable to the idea.”
